He came out to my new-build neighborhood in Lowesville (Stanley/Denver NC) and gave me a very fair quote for some forestry mulching to clear brush, dead trees, and anything else in the way. From the start, he was extremely responsive and communicated clearly throughout the entire process.When it came time for the work, he absolutely overdelivered on what I asked for—the property looks better than I expected. I hired DLD for a big and challenging project at my mountain cabin. Bought it just before Helene and was already making landscaping/hardscaping plans when the storm devastated the land. Dallas, the owner met me and listened to our ideas. Her reviewed our sketch of walking path, seating areas. He made some recommendations based on his expertise and knowledge on erosion. Our property is pretty steep and there are many boulders and buried rocks. We combined our ideas and came up with a solid plan. His quote was fair and felt confident he would deliver. The results are amazing. He proposed a few ideas along the way and it made sense. We ended up with a wonderful designed walking park. It elevates the land and the creeks. Dallas was wonderful to work with, very proactive in communicating and very responsive to questions. There were no hiccups and I highly recommend DLD for any ambitious projects. I will definitely put them at the top of my list for future projects.

I used DLD Grading for a large clearing project at my house. I researched and met several other companies before finding Dallas. When I reached out to him, he promptly came over and reviewed my plans with no hesitation about the ability to execute exactly what I wanted. He cleared a large amount of wooded area that contained several double oaks and other deep-rooted trees. In addition to clearing and removing, he cut two roads in and perfectly leveled my new building pad. Dallas is an honest, local guy that really cares about your project and doing what is best for his customers. He kept in budget and delivered exactly what we discussed from the initial handshake. When we neared the end of the project, I asked him for any advice and recommendations to improve a sloped area and without hesitation he had a plan. There was absolutely no pressure to accept his suggestion, but I'm so glad we did as it has truly paid off. It's hard to find trustworthy businesses, especially that utilize local labor and are born and raised in the area. I hired Dallas to do allot of grading work around my large property (acerage). He moved an extensive amount of dirt that I had him escavate out of the hillside for him to prepare a site for a new 2400 sq ft garage. He prepared site for garage with water drainage handled through appropriate grading. He built a gravel covered road bed down to my new garage and another one on the opposite side of my property to access the back of my property, both completed with a packed/crowned bed to shed water - which 5 years later still in great shape. His prices were reasonable compared to others I had bid the job - but his confidence and willingness to start, prompted me to chose him over other grading contractors. He proved to have been a wise choice, and since that time I have hired him again, and referred family, friends and Real Estate clients to him. Never a bad experience. I 💯 recommend him to anyone.
