Great experience with Chris and the team we have a 1lt Ford focus turbo, we had a wet belt change, price was competitive, and after trying a couple of dates, we agreed on a Tuesday, my son & wife arrived in time & the hand over went smoothly, they were told to wait for a call next day, to make sure very thing was good. We did get a call few hours in on day one, letting us know the water pump needed changing, plus a few other bits. We picked it up after dinner following day, a week in now, my son says no issues whatsoever. I would recommend these guys, without doubt, I can see why now so many 5* Reviewers. Thank you.

I recently visited this garage and had a great experience. I called about replacing the wet belt on my Ford Fiesta and they were friendly, approachable, and happy to answer my questions. A few weeks later I took the car in and the team were helpful from the start. They kept me updated throughout the two-day job and flagged a few items that may need attention soon (brake discs/pads and rear axle bushes), which we discussed on collection. Although the brakes weren’t urgent, I booked in to have both the brakes and bushes replaced, and again they answered all my questions. A few weeks later, the work was completed and the service was excellent. Throughout, they were friendly and professional and clearly knew what they were doing, which put me at ease. I’d highly recommend them for reliable, professional, courteous service.

Dropped my car off at Ignition Autos this morning for my 3 year service on my Peugeot 208 Chris even gave me a lift to wickford while the service was being done.Service carried out as per manufacturer specifications and much cheaper than the main dealership I think they washed the car as well as it was cleaner than when I took it in, Second time I’ve used them and wouldn’t go anywhere else and would highly recommended them to anyone.

Great service. Took my Transit in for a couple of issues — properly diagnosed, wheel bearing replaced and tracking sorted. Van drives much better now. Honest advice, fair price, no upselling. Would happily use again.

All my E mails were answered start away clear pricing for a major service which was up loaded for the Jaguar service records and a lot cheaper than a main dealer, even cleaned the car for us upon collection. I am 75, live alone in the sticks and depend on my old banger to make essential journeys. Without a mechanically skilled friend or family member, I have in the past done the rounds of local garages trying not to get ripped off - as by the main dealership which advised me my electronic car key needed replacing because the battery was depleted! When I discovered In Ignition Autos an incredibly helpful team based near to me whose repairs are reliable and whose costings are transparent, it took all the anxiety out of motor maintenance. This is definitely the place to come if previous car repair services have left you with trust issues.

Great team at Ignition Autos. Came here specifcally as they are wet cambelt specialists and they did not disappoint. Professional and knowledgeable, did the cam belt and emailed photos showing state of the oil filter - they were completely open and communicate through the whole process. Had an MOT and service done at the same time including tyre changes. My tyre pressure sensor malfunctioned afterwards and they replaced it without question and as soon as possible. Turns out my car is just a bit of slow learner and they most likely did nothing wrong! Outstanding local bussiness, specialists in cam belt changes and wholely proffesional. They aren't the cheapest (but still very reasonable) and you know for a fact the quality is probably the best you can get. I would recommend!

Chris and the team go above and beyond and at reasonable prices. They also offer you a lift back into town which is something they don't need to do but really shows you how great they are. They are the only people locally I'd recommend.

I don’t normally go down the ‘review’ route, but on this occasion I think it’s necessary. The boys at Ignition Autos are just great and I can’t recommend them highly enough. The booking in process is very easy, their communication throughout the day was superb and the quality of their work was faultless and all at an excellent price. I’m pleased with myself that I’ve found good, trustworthy car mechanics and will definitely be back in the future!
