Modern K9 did a great job working with our puppy! Since she is a bigger breed we wanted to make sure we started her training early. She came back from her 2-week puppy training stay with a good foundation that we can build on as she grows up. Looking forward to when she does her second phase when she gets to learn off leash training when she is more mature. Everyone at Modern was great to work with and we appreciated the daily updates on our puppy’s training!

I sent both of my dogs to Modern K9 Solutions for the 3 week board and train. They both had prior obediance training when they were younger, however I didn't keep up with the expectations. Long story short, once the youngest reached maturity, the dogs no longer got along and their obediance was iffy. These are big dogs and we needed a change.Kamryn did a great job keeping me updated on what they were working on and was quick to respond if I had follow up questions. The homework was clear, the "go home" lesson with Tommy was packed full of information. He answered all of my questions and gave me tips on how to handle different situations. By the time he left I felt like I had finally gained some gound to stand on with my pups.Now, their obediance is on point. I have not yet handled them at the same time as I am still working on my handling skills, but I now know its possible and I have a team of people backing me up. I would recommend Modern K9 Solutions to everyone, and I also recommend following through with expectations you set for you dogs.

Is this worth the time and money? YES! I have a cane corso service dog that was struggling, not because of her, but because of my handling skills. They gave her the basic obedience and gave me the training and resources to be the leader she needs and deserves. We are both a different, closer and better team for it. The daily updates and homework were great ways to keep me involved and working for our success too. We are both more confident, and I know it will only continue to grow as we build our lives together. Also, you can see in the photo that the squishes are starting to catch on too without any prompting, just observational. "Place" is getting a bit crunched these days while I'm in the kitchen cooking.

Hi! My dog just returned from training with Tommy and his wonderful crew! I can't believe the transformation already of my dog. I took her on a walk this morning and she heeled and passed dogs without jumping and barking. She also went to the vet and was so well behaved there as well. I highly recommend Modern K9 Solutions. Tommy and his wife and trainers are simply the best and so great at what they do. They teach the dogs and they support their owners. Please give them a call! Modern K9 is awesome. This is the second dog that I have entrusted to Tommy. Our girl came back with some continued homework which we expected. Training doesn't stop just because your dog came home. She came back much more responsive to instructions, eager to please, much calmer, and more manageable. Our dog has a huge drive and never runs out of energy, but now has an "off switch." Recommend 10/10

At first I really loved this place. I had an aggressive German Shepherd that was incredibly reactive. Due to that we went with the 3/4 week training where they take him and break all his bad habits. It was awesome, my dog did incredible he was totally working on a turn around with his reactivity. With the package I purchased around $5,000 we had life time on going dog training. Per the contract they had and I signed and paid for.Now in regard to their training. I do think that aspect is great. They work well with the dogs,they really know what they’re doing.But the reason I’m giving them a one star is because they have completely ghosted me. I had a death in my family and didn’t go to training for several months. When I was ready to get back to it. I emailed, called, texted. They have two numbers. I’ve contacted them both. Countless times. They have a portal for current clients and I messaged them on there. Yet absolutely nothing from them. I’m just so disappointed, it took me forever to find a great trainer. My dog loved them, they helped us so much. Then to spend so much money thinking this is the best thing for my dog. On their website they preach all about lifetime support! Where? They just took my money and left me high and dry.Take your business to someone who will actually respond to you when you pay for a service.

We sent our 14 week old puppy Mozzy to Modern K9 and have nothing but good things to say. They make sure every dog/puppy on site is fully vaccinated so we felt safe sending our little guy even though most board and trains wouldn’t take a pup that small. He was there for their 2 week board and train and not only came back happy but we were shocked at how good he was on the leash. He was a puller and he’s been doing so much better. Kamryn sent us near daily updates on his progress and sat down and went through all our questions when he was brought home. She stayed for a training lesson to help us as first time dog parents, and we have nothing but great things to say. If anyone needs anything from training to boarding, can’t recommend Modern K9 enough!

We sent our golden retriever puppy to Modern K9 Solutions for a board and train session, and it was seriously the best thing we could’ve done. The knowledge of the trainer and patience they have with the dogs and the owners when they show them all the pup learned is appreciated! The updates are a nice thing to look forward to everyday and I knew he was in good hands with them. Can’t recommend them enough! Do yourself and your family pet a favor and enroll them in the training you both deserve.

We sent our 14 month old pup to Modern K-9 Solutions for 3wks. Though we missed her dearly she returned a more content and confident dog. She comes when called even with distractions. She walks at my side on her leash and off. Her training has made her all the more special to our family.We had great communication with Modern K-9 Solutions from the time I booked her training and throughout the board and train time. I received photos and videos keeping me up to date on what she was doing and how well she was learning the commands. It is great to know that I can alway call on Modern K-9 should we fall back or have any issues with our girl in the future.

They are very communicative and work very well with the dogs. My dog Bandit came back a completely different pup, he’s a crazy dog so he definitely needed the training they were able to provide. They also answer any questions you have and will help any way they can with you and your dog. You can tell they care more about the dogs than they do the money :)

We used Modern K9 Solutions for their board and train program. From pick up to drop off it was great experience. We loved getting daily pics and/or video of what our fur baby was working on. We really appreciated the time spent at drop off with the trainer. She really took her time to show us the techniques that were used and made sure we understood everything before she left.
