My now two year old female Doberman came to Modern K9 Solutions at 9 months old. We established a good foundation at home but needed the pros in order to take us to the next level. The trainers were professional, to the point, and took a genuine interest in seeing our dog succeed. After our 10 lesson package, training has become a lifestyle for us, which wouldn’t have been possible without their knowledge and expertise.

I have to admit, I was extremely skeptical. I had my dog in for the 3 week board and train, I didn't get a new dog back, I got my dog back, but better. He listens, obeys commands and is a pleasure to be around. I ran into some issues with his reactivity while on leash. I sent an email to the company, received a response the next day and was scheduled for a follow up visit within the week. I am thrilled that when they say you have lifetime support, they mean it. The home visit went exceptionally well and I feel I can take it from here! I can't speak highly enough, they carry through on their promises. Thanks Tommy!

Our Dog Scout has completed 5 total weeks of training with k9 solutions and I am incredibly impressed with the progress she made each visit. Having a puppy with a very busy household with lots of little kids and visitors was very chaotic, but we have been willing to push through the challenges for the pup. K9 solutions has been an amazing support system to establish really amazing boundaries with our puppy pretty quickly. We expressed the concerns we had before each boarding session and has come home with an incredible difference!! I would recommend this over and over and over again. Having solid foundation for your dog is a game changer!

Loved working with them. They were super understanding with my situation with my dog and they gave me the training and tools I'd need to help keep her training successful. They were always there to answer any question I had, and I never once felt like I was being judges. They were just great overall :)

Modern K9 Solutions was great! They came and picked my dog up for three weeks and sent photos and updates almost everyday. When my dog came home he was so well behaved and you can tell they really worked with him to make he a more obedient dog. I have some trouble handling my dog and they had no problem come down to my house to help me get my dog back on track. I 100% recommend Modern K9 Solutions and definitely will be using again.

I’m leaving this review today only because I’m not sure why it took this long. I met my boy Ruger through Modern Canine Solutions about three years ago. He is the best dog in the world I needed him just as much or more than he needed me. I can’t say enough about him and the training he received before we met. He had some issues and the previous owners had given up on him, but not me once I saw him on the Internet. I drove eight hours each way, and even with some complications I said I’m not leaving without this dog. He has changed my life for the better and I’ve also changed his for the better. We are both living the best life we could possibly have! thank you Shawn who I spoke with today after being reunited with my extended family. I don’t know why it took this long and I’m just so glad I found you and so is Ruger !!!!Just know these are words that cannot completely describe how I feel it’s hard to type through the tears right now. I love my boy Ruger that much!!!!

Great people. Great training. Our ten month old golden mix that we rescued had no discipline or training at all and came back to us with much better manners and a good start on training. Well worth the cost.

Modern K9 did a great job working with our puppy! Since she is a bigger breed we wanted to make sure we started her training early. She came back from her 2-week puppy training stay with a good foundation that we can build on as she grows up. Looking forward to when she does her second phase when she gets to learn off leash training when she is more mature. Everyone at Modern was great to work with and we appreciated the daily updates on our puppy’s training!

I sent both of my dogs to Modern K9 Solutions for the 3 week board and train. They both had prior obediance training when they were younger, however I didn't keep up with the expectations. Long story short, once the youngest reached maturity, the dogs no longer got along and their obediance was iffy. These are big dogs and we needed a change.Kamryn did a great job keeping me updated on what they were working on and was quick to respond if I had follow up questions. The homework was clear, the "go home" lesson with Tommy was packed full of information. He answered all of my questions and gave me tips on how to handle different situations. By the time he left I felt like I had finally gained some gound to stand on with my pups.Now, their obediance is on point. I have not yet handled them at the same time as I am still working on my handling skills, but I now know its possible and I have a team of people backing me up. I would recommend Modern K9 Solutions to everyone, and I also recommend following through with expectations you set for you dogs.

Is this worth the time and money? YES! I have a cane corso service dog that was struggling, not because of her, but because of my handling skills. They gave her the basic obedience and gave me the training and resources to be the leader she needs and deserves. We are both a different, closer and better team for it. The daily updates and homework were great ways to keep me involved and working for our success too. We are both more confident, and I know it will only continue to grow as we build our lives together. Also, you can see in the photo that the squishes are starting to catch on too without any prompting, just observational. "Place" is getting a bit crunched these days while I'm in the kitchen cooking.

Hi! My dog just returned from training with Tommy and his wonderful crew! I can't believe the transformation already of my dog. I took her on a walk this morning and she heeled and passed dogs without jumping and barking. She also went to the vet and was so well behaved there as well. I highly recommend Modern K9 Solutions. Tommy and his wife and trainers are simply the best and so great at what they do. They teach the dogs and they support their owners. Please give them a call!
