We embarked on installing a huge boulder retaining wall and loved it but after 3 years of living with it decided that although we loved the look it was overwhelming in the yard and difficult to plant and maintain. Conor listened and didnt think we were completely mad when we wanted to chop the boulders in half and use to create a 2 tier terraced boulder wall! It looks amazing and we are so much happier with it! We are now also using them for regular yard maintenance and Derek and is team are punctual, polite and have great attention to detail! A backyard renovation can be daunting and this one has been two years in the making for us. When we finally decided it was time to stop talking about it and get it done, we were lucky enough to have Catalan Landscaping recommended to us. Working with Conor was a complete joy. He is confident in his work and the work of his team. When an unexpected issue was uncovered in our demolition process Conor consulted with other professionals in the field for best practice and discussed two really good options for us in solving the situation. We chose the lesser cost option. With sure footed confidence Conor agreed with the solution we chose. As the project moved forward Conor listened to ideas we had for tweaking things and helped us get to the final beautiful backyard we imagined.
