I had Adam gray come out to my property yesterday in Atkinson and I asked for an estimate to brush hog my backyard I got an estimate of $1,500 I asked him how long would it take he said a half a day which is 4 hours I responded $375 an hour that's some business you have there no thank you he came back with a different price $895 he took $600 off to do the same work I have to ask myself why didn't you give me a fair price to begin with you gouged me this is a warning to anybody who wants to do business with this company don't trust this company you should have gave me a fair price from the beginning you thought you were going to take advantage of me well now I'm going to take advantage of your company website and I'm going to leave a review to anybody that wants to do business with you. don't do business with you.

I hired them to remove moss in my lawn , aerate and over seed. I knew the easiest way to remove the moss was with a power dethatcher which is what I thought they were going to use. 1st the salesman calls and says they would be there the following day to aerate and overseed. I asked about the moss removal/dethatching. They forgot. So they come next week to dethatch/remove the moss. They showed up with a ride on mower with the tynes on it, I didn't catch them until they did a few passes. I told them to stop, that I wanted a power dethatcher because the one they were using was useless, it was barely pulling up any grass nevermind the moss. So I told the workers that they could leave and emailed the salesman. He said that's what all landscape companies do to remove moss so I told him if I had known that then I would have gone with a company that was going to actually remove the moss. Then they sent me a bill for the 5 passes they made with the lawn mower. If you are going to hire this company definitely ask more questions than I did.

I had hired Ground Care for a spring clean up and fertilizer service. I am very happy with the result of the yard clean up and the price was very fair. The crew didn’t miss anything and were very respectful and polite. Fertilizer crew did an excellent job covering the whole yard and was very thorough. I know I am not the only client and running a business is not always easy. So the only complaint is that there was a miscommunication on the day of the clean up due to weather, which I understand. But I should have got a call or email that day or night to update me on the situation and that they were working on a new schedule. It was two days later and I had to call.

They have provided EXCELLENT workmanship at a very cost effective rate. They have performed spring clean-up, aeration, de-thatching, pruning, irrigation relocation and repair, and even some hardscape patio work for me.I would highly recommend that you give them the opportunity to maintain or dress up your landscape.Well, they did it again. 2024 and another great spring cleanup done.Call them. Groundcare has outstanding client attentiveness - for example, answering my calls, timely scheduling , showing up at the appointed time (as I’m sure you know, foreign concepts to so many contractors) - and performance excellence - no missed areas of the yard, no cutting corners. In summary, treated with respect from start to finish, job done on time, on budget and with performance exceeding expectations. Second time I’ve used this company this year and would use them again without hesitation. Well done!
