This was Jennifer's 2nd time cutting my son's hair it also was my son's 2nd haircut. He is almost 3. Jennifer was very patient as my son started to get restless towards the end of his cut. Jennifer spoke very soft and kind to my son and she still managed to give him a great haircut. His mother was very happy when we got home. Jennifer was a true professional when it came to dealing with a bored and restless toddler boy. Thank you and we will be back .

Everyone is always super friendly and greets you when you walk in. You can see the care and time they put into the kids who come in. We've been going to see Colleen for 2 years and are never disappointed.

Brought my 8 year old daughter this week and Mandy made her whole week! The haircut was perfect, she was very accommodating to the style we wanted and executed perfectly while making it a fun experience for my daughter. Will definitely be returning!

I took my baby here to get a clean new hair cut and why my child walk out of here the COMPLETE OPPOSITE OF WHAT LITTLE MAN WANTED!!! he asked for a close fade with a lighting stripe on one side and longer on top. And they did my baby wrong! No lighting stripe, his hair line all over the place, and no fade AND SHE NICKED HIS EAR!! I will NOT be going back to Clair or sharkies. Can’t listen to what he wants nor was she interested in hearing it. Acted like she didn’t even wanna be there. And now I have to go somewhere else to fix what she messed up smdh. Please do better. These are children you are dealing with. If you don’t want to be in this line of business just say that and don’t mess up a child’s head because you’re having a bad day.

We had such a wonderful experience with Carmen. She was incredibly kind and patient with my daughter, took the time to make sure she got exactly the haircut she wanted, and made her feel so pretty and confident when she was done. Carmen was warm, attentive, and you can tell she really cares about making the experience special. We’ll definitely be back!

I went to this place so my son could enjoy the toy cars, the balloons, and the TV while getting his haircut. However, they are anything but professional; they surely learned on YouTube and likely don't even hold cosmetology licenses. They do a terrible job—just because they are cutting children's hair doesn't mean they should do such shoddy work. The lady was very friendly—that much is true—but her work was a huge disappointment. I specifically asked them to have a highly professional person do the cut, as it was for his birthday. Now I'll have to buy him a hat; I don't think they'll be able to fix it. They charge $34 for a garbage haircut, and to top it all off, they expect a tip—and even try to charge you an extra 65 cents just to leave one! I appreciate that she was kind to my son, but she already takes home 60% of that $34—she made about $20 for a completely hideous haircut. The first time I visited, a Hispanic girl named Jennifer cut his hair, and I actually liked it that time. There was also a Black woman working there who had a terrible attitude—she actually scared me. She looked me up and down, tilting her head back as if she felt superior; I could practically feel her racist glare. Someone like her shouldn't be working in a place where children are present; her attitude makes her seem like a safety risk.

Visited Sharkey’s on Six Fork Road with my 5 year old grandson. Upon arrival was informed that the stylist was ill so I could reschedule. However, the stylist Imani was alone that day and had an opening immediately. She was superb! She styled my grandson’s hair exactly the way his parents wanted and took her time with him. She was gracious and extremely professional. I will definitely rebook with Imani.
