Kieran is 4, autistic and gets extremely upset when people mess with his hair, however, it’s something we still have to take care of to take care of him. Claire was extremely patient as he melted down! Her care was majorly appreciated 🥰

It was my son’s first hair cut, Latifa did an awesome job! Thankfully he sat still the majority of the time and wasn’t difficult at all and she did so good cutting his hair. I’ll be coming back

Absolutely love coming to Sharkey’s on six forks to bring my daughter for her hair trimming. While the entire staff is wonderful, I want to mention Colleen specifically. She is so very patient and sweet to my daughter and always helps her to look her best. My daughter is 5 and on the autism spectrum and certain things can bother her or she can shout random things and move her head a lot and not understand to keep looking down or look up or any other instructions the hair dresser gives— Colleen is very patient and understand with my daughter and I appreciate that so much, it means a lot. We will keep coming back! **Update since I wrote this review 2 years ago, my daughter is now 7 and we still go to Colleen at Sharkey’s on six forks, shes the best and we always have a good laugh, also she cuts my hair as well, I’m not into long drawn out expensive salon visits so I just get my hair cut or trimmed at Sharkey’s with my daughter. 10/10 would recommend. daughter and mom cuts only cost me $76, I love that and we love Colleen.

Both my daughters loved it. They were treated like princesses. they got their hair washed and cut their nails done as well as butterfly clips in there hair. Claire and Colleen were great with my two girls. My kids have already told me they want to go here the next time they need their hair cut. Thankyou for the great experience.

I was a little disappointed with the price as it is advertised BOYS' HAIRCUTSEvery Boys’ Haircut includes a wash, cut, blow-dry, fun chairs, cartoons, a balloon, and a lollipop! $36. My boy can be difficult to get a hair cut but he did sit still and let Claire do the hair cut. We were not offered a shampoo or blow dry. When we walked in I told the ladies I didn’t know if it would be a trim or a cut or if my son would cooperate. We live an hour away so not sure if we will go back we were in town for something else and gave them a try because my son has pictures on Monday.

Took my 4yr old daughter here and it was wonderful! Clair did an excellent haircut, painted her nails and made her feel so special. When we got in the car my daughter said, I wanna go back there tomorrow! lol. We will be back! Thank you Clair

Colleen was very polite and caring, she went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I was pleased with our sons first haircut, she was also very patient with him. We will definitely be going back to see her with our hair cutting needs! And I would recommend anyone else do as well pictures of my little man without showing his face.

We don’t live in the area. We were just visiting. Found Sharkys on a google search. Well worth it. My 3 year old enjoyed his hair cut, was comfortable and relaxed, and that thanks to their wonderful staff. Absolutely recommend this place for children’s hair cuts.

My son’s hair is not cute right. Some of the hair looks longer than others. Both sides are not even. For $40 this was a waste of money. The lady was very nice, but just didn’t do a good job. I’m a little disappointed

Colleen did a wonderful first haircut for my 22month old son!! I was nervous about his first cut. I told her boyish but not young manish and she hit the nail on the head!!! She spiffied him up while keeping his personality and his curls. We got a photo a certificate and a little baggie with one of his curls 🥹 he got a balloon and free dip n dots. What a wonderful experience for him, he didn't not want to leave! Thank you Colleen! We will be back to see you!
