Extremely Disappointed – Proceed with CautionI had a deeply disappointing experience with this company. After closing a business I ran for over a decade, I reached out to Chris to handle our liquidation auction. We signed a contract, scheduled a date, and his team even visited the site and began listing items online. Everything seemed set for nearly three weeks. Then, less than two weeks before the auction, I informed Chris I wanted to retain just one piece of equipment. To my shock, he responded via text that they were canceling the entire auction. He later called to say that by deciding to keep one item, I had somehow breached the spirit of the deal—and that they were backing out. That explanation didn’t sit right. This wasn’t a small job—our facility is 6,000 sq ft packed with tools and machinery.Christ also stated he was only doing this as a favor. A favor? There was $30,000-$40,000 worth of equipment in there even at used prices. It’s important to note that their commission rate was 35%, which is significantly higher than other companies who quoted me 25%. I chose Chris because he promised he could meet my tight timeline. In the end, relying on that promise cost me dearly. If you have lots of flexibility and time, they might be a viable option. But if you’re on a schedule or looking for consistency and reliability, I’d strongly recommend exploring other options. Also, be sure to compare rates—there are more reasonably priced services out there.
