Sunday 16th of March, I woke up with a craving for empanadas. P.S: I'M NOT PREGNANT 🤪 😆 I am very craving!!🤭I googled and the locations were in central London, etc. In the end, I decided to dream, and when I googled "empanadas near me," a place appeared just 8 miles from my house, and I said, "What!" 👀I can't believe it! I saw this information at 7 am 🙈 on a Sunday and they opened at 9 am 😫 Imagine what the wait was like! 🤪🤭Let's talk about the famous empanadas. I called Chef Rulo, who was very kind. He asked me what time I wanted the empanadas, and I told him 1 pm.I went to collect the empanadas and was greeted by Chef Rulo's wife; she was a lovely lady. I met some friends of theirs. By the way, where I collected the empanadas was at their house, Chef Rulo's house, but what a lovely welcome! Everyone was so loving. They were happy, organizing a BBQ, and I felt like I was at home. (P.S. I'm from Chile 🇨🇱) I felt like I was at a gathering with friends; the atmosphere was welcoming.Now I'm going to talk about the famous and delicious empanadas, as the Argentinians say! Las empanadas erán un manjar che!! No translation for obvious reasons 🤭I ordered five meat empanadas and one with humitas. DELICIOUS. Now I'm addicted to Chef Rulo's empanadas.Let's talk about Chef Rulo's generosity. Without even knowing me—I mean, this was my first time meeting him and his family—he gave me some spectacular and delicious alfajores. "I love sweets!" 🤭 And he also gave me two chorizos (sausages). I mean! He gave me two products. It's extremely generous. Then I said, "Why am I surprised?" Latinos are so generous and friendly. 😁 Not like in the UK! Ordered 300 mini Alfajores - they were just delicious!! The perfect sweet treat to accompany prosecco for our Argentine Tango event at the Bloch Store on Endell Street. Highly recommend.
