My experience can't get any better! I just received a high light service from Jynise. She shared that she is a cosmetology apprentice and getting ready to graduate. Her teacher Ms. Ash guided her every step of the way. I am extremely happy with my professional salon experience. Now I am on my way to Chicago for my 30 year HS reunion. I look and feel amazing. I wanted someone to wash, deep condition and blow dry my hair after taking out a sew in. I called Ms. Kim Saturday morning and she was very polite and accommodating and she allowed me to come that morning. That was the best hair wash I received in a long time! Ms. Kim had tranquil music playing, lights dimmed and a foot stool for you to rest your feet. She did an excellent job massaging my scalp and I will definitely recommend her services.

Ms. Kim has a big heart and cares deeply about her students' quality of learning and success. As a matter of fact, if it were not for her academic support, I WOULD NOT have been able to pass my Maryland cosmetology exams. After completing my cosmetology coursework in California 3 years ago and moving to MD recently, I found Ms. Kim’s information on the Internet and called her. Much of what I had learned before was quite ‘rusty’ in my brain and I was low in morale. When she found out that my exhausting full-time supermarket job made it very hard for me to drive to her salon, she drove nearly 45 miles once a week for 8 weeks to my home in Rockville to prepare me for the Maryland license exams. And noticing my family's low income, Ms. Kim's sliding –scale charge was a mere $750, compare to $4000 from other nearby schools. She also brought free make-up supplies, text, doll heads, and online sample exam review resources.When I took the exam 2 months ago, I passed the practical section with flying colors, thanks to sufficient hands-on practice with her and a nearby salon she hooked me up with. The theory portion, though, is from the Milady text which is over 1000 pages. I fell short of passing the theory part by 4 points. Ms. Kim came to my rescue again. She persisted with more encouraging words, periodic questions-and-answer review sessions on the phone, as well as more specific online review sites. I showed up for the second trial 2 weeks ago just to give it a shot, feeling pessimistic and low in spirits. But her guidance and my extremely hard work pushed me over the edge and I passed by scoring 76%!!!THANKS A MILLION MS. KIM! I COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOUR HELP!Nelofar
