Randy Russel provided an engaging and valuable professional development experience for our staff in Montana. As a former superintendent and experienced school speaker, he did an excellent job addressing multiple teaching styles and focusing on what truly matters in effective teaching..... connection with students.His unique techniques kept everyone actively involved. Although most teachers brought comfortable chairs for another boring 4 hour PIR day talk, we spent much of the session up, moving around, participating, and learning with various team activities. As an early-year CTE teacher transitioning into mid-year instruction, I found his approach especially meaningful and applicable to my own teaching practice. Overall, Randy’s presentation was engaging, practical, and a great reminder of the importance of reaching students in meaningful ways.
