I honestly don't know where to begin but I'll start with communication. I called A Plus for my HVAC needs last week and Nader came out to my home to assess my furnace the same day. He was and is very professional and efficient. Out of the 8 companies I called, A Plus was the most reasonable and were not price gouging like a few of the other companies i dealt with. I also spoke with Teo at the office and he was also very pleasant and was in constant communication with me regarding the whole process. My furnace/ac unit was ordered and was placed at my home today. The workers including Dave (I feel bad I didn't get the other guys name because they were also great) came to my home at 8:30 and were done by 12:30. They were really quick and did an AMAZING job. They also cleaned up after themselves which I really appreciate and were able to tow away my old furnace. I can't express how much I really appreciate A Plus and their team for such an amazing job. I called after determining that I most likely needed a blower motor replaced late evening, and an appointment was set up with Hadil the very next morning. He quickly got prepared to diagnose the issue and the blower motor fired right up making us think that it might be a simple limiter reset fix...but after a few minutes the motor revealed its flaw and whirred down to a halt. Hadil checked with me for approval first , then after I gave the okay to tackle the problem he promptly researched what would be needed and tracked down a supplier to head off and request the old model blower motor replacement - which was fortunately available. He noticed some dangling wiring and some exposed connectors which weren't immediate concerns but they were taped and ziptied for neatness and future problem prevention. In about 2½ hours - from initial arrival, and including the part retrieval time, up to procedure competion - the old furnace went from nonfunctional/seizing up to working at least as well as it did before. Although it wasn't super cheap, the fact that a critical part needed to be replaced (and it turned out not needing to be ordered) had the price reasonably set - especially during the beginning of January peak season. Final cost only involved arrival/diagnosis, task expense, and tax. No other silent or hidden fees at all. Price tag was fairly comfortably below a thousand dollars...whereas I was concerned that it may cost upwards of twelve hundred or more potentially with the timing and the severity. Less
