Jay went above and beyond for our group from start to finish.We were in Scottsdale for a golf trip/bachelor trip and needed a van last minute that could comfortably handle the group and all of our golf clubs. Jay was incredibly accommodating from the beginning — responsive, flexible, and genuinely helpful. He even made adjustments to the van to create extra space for our clubs, which made a huge difference for us.The van itself was perfect for what we needed: clean, reliable, comfortable, and exactly as advertised. Pickup and communication were easy, and when our plans changed on the final day, Jay was more than willing to work with us and let us drop the van off later so we could head straight to the airport. I have a mixed review for my experience with Scottsdale Van Rental. Firstly, you get what you pay for and these rentals should be used for in town… not long trips.I love supporting local businesses since I also own a local business, however I do wish I went with a larger company for this rental. The person I texted with, Jay, was helpful and communicative however my experience with the van itself was not the best.The night before scheduled pickup I got a text that the van had a couple issues but was good to drive. The gas sensor apparently went out and only showed 7/8 full when it was full. & also the tire pressure sensor went out and showed that multiple tires were not full but they were. Fine enough, I thought.After picking up for a women’s retreat I was hosting to go to Utah… it was a bit embarrassing picking up my attendees. The van was older than I was expecting, after seeing the photos on google I thought I had a chance of getting a newer van. I wish there was a way to pick which one you want. Then when going to fill up the gas tank, not only was the sensor out but the gas tank would NOT take any gas at all unless you held the nossle at a certain angle and went SUPER slow… it took 20-30 mins to get the gas tank to half way sometimes.The van really struggled with taking hills… as to be expected with larger vehicles. But there was full on semi-trucks flying past me at times.By the end of the trip the check engine light came on and with a van full of women without mechanical knowledge, I was a little concerned if we would make it back safely.Again, you get what you pay for and next time I will be paying more for a nicer rental through a bigger company. But for small around town tasks these vans would be fine.

Jay runs one of the most professional and efficient businesses. I've rented a few different vans from him multiple times in the past. I just ended a rental with him and of course it was an amazing experience. The cars are in good condition, drive smoothly, don't eat that much gas, and are decently comfortable. His pricing is spot on and very affordable for what you get. I would highly recommend Jay and Scottsdale Van Rental if you're in need of a larger size van in the Scottsdale area. Keep it up Jay! Looking forward to my next rental!
