After my roof was destroyed by a hail storm I filed a claim with my insurance and began calling roofing companies. One company turned out to be from out-of-state and another company never returned my call. I saw a lot of signs in my neighborhood for Homeland Roofing so I sent them a message. Within 24 hours I had my rep, Ruben Caylao, at my house completing the estimate. My insurance company estimated the cost at $22k and Homeland offered the full replacement with upgrades over my existing roof for $16.8k. I was really excited about that part!Ruben was super-responsive and communicated timelines to me quickly. Homeland uses an online portal for payment processing so paying the deposit was super-easy. The work was scheduled to be completed in two weeks when I paid the deposit which was a surprise given the number of roofs being replaced in the area due to the severe storm.On the day of the replacement the crew began working at about 06:00. They were completely finished, cleaned up, and gone by 14:00. They covered my flower beds with a protective tarp to keep them from being damaged and the debris was completely cleaned up before they cleared out.Ruben returned about a week later to finalize the sale. He again did one final sweep around the house to ensure that any remaining debris was cleared out. Since the roof was replaced I have found just one roof tack in the grass. That's all. If you've ever had a roof replaced you know that is pretty amazing.I hope I don't need their services for at least 15 years, but when the time comes I'll definitely call Homeland again.
