This is a must do one hundred percent!!! Out of all of the things that we done, this was the best.The crew on the ship treated us with respect.It was a very laid back wonderful one hour to the island. Once we got to the island they were very helpful about getting there still off in on the exploring, started and omg the prettiest shells you will ever find and the?Crew gave us a little bag to collect them in plus they gave us snorkeling gear and I found a huge live conk!!!! This is so worth your money. And probably the only thing they're gonna do when we come back down here.!!!! Lou was an awesome guide he called us before we got there and checked on us many times and came and just chilled in conversation with us wich makes your experience 100 times better!!! Less

We had a wonderful outing this morning on the Egmont Key Day 4 hour Tour. Big, clean boat with nice restrooms and plenty of seating on both upper and lower decks. In the enclosed A/C bar area, there was also nice cozy seating to be escape the sun and breeze. The captain and crew also did a great job, checking on us to make sure we were good on beverages. We were a party of 10: 5 adults and 5 kids ages 2 to 14. Egmont Key had a nature trail that led to an old fort and lighthouse. The lighthouse is not open to walk inside, but the fort was fun too explore. A medium size manatee swam up close to our party while we were swimming. I highly recommend The Pelican!! Fun day trip to Egmont Key leaving from the St Petersburg Pier. Great views, nice crew, comfortable boat. Highly recommended.2 hours for swimming, exploring the island, snorkeling and relaxing on the island. Perfecto! Less

Very nice cruise! We had bad weather and no sunset but the ride was great! Took about an hour to go to the Skyway bridge. Perfect for gorgeous pictures. They sell reasonable beer and wine onboard. It was Mother's Day and they gave all the mom's a free drink. The crew will bring you drinks wherever you're sitting. It rained and we all ran inside! We hung out where the captain was for awhile. Had a nice conversation with the crew. Boat was very nice, indoor and outdoor sitting areas, bathrooms. We enjoyed it very much. Less

Crew was awesome. Boat and experience were even better. Would highly recommend doing this adventure if you haven't. Drove over the Skyway hundreds of times but it's even better seen from a different point. Would go back with Pelican again. Less

I cannot say enough good things about this boat and staff! My son and I have done both the pine key and Egmont key trips and both were fantastic! Like they say...it's better to have a friend with a boat than actually own one....and that's what it feels like each time you go out with the pelican, just a fun day on the water with friends! We went on the sunset skyway tour and it was excellent. It was beautiful to see the Skyway bridge lights. Lou was great, taking photos for all the people and getting drinks from the bar. Captain Brady was informative and safe. Great for tourists and locals alike. Less

My wife Susie and I chose the Pelican St. Pete ferry to take us to Egmont key because it left from downtown St. Pete and afforded a longer ride which took us under the skyway. Having not used this boat before, we were curious and after reviewing the site liked all the amenities that the trip offered. We were cordially greeted at the boat by Lou, Dennis and Brady. They were friendly and inviting and made us feel very welcome. The boat is clean and comfortable, with several options for seating. We chose to sit outside on the upper deck in the area of the bow as it was a beautiful breezy day. The entire experience was very relaxing and we could not have chosen a more professional crew for our trip. This is a very nice 4-Hour excursion with just enough time on Egmont Key to explore and stretch your legs. We will most certainly do this again. To the crew; thanks and see you soon!
