The Muse Academy offers high quality, affordable child care. The staff members are professional, affectionate, and knowledgeable. For the first time, my three year old finally loves coming to school. The curriculum is fun, engaging, and intentional. The school communication is great and I would recommend this center a thousand times over to anyone seeking child care in the Long Beach area.

I had both my kids at Muse Academy. The teachers are kind and friendly and the environment is fun for the kids with lots of activities and special celebrations for families.

Our son has been going to Muse Academy for 1 year now and we are so happy with his growth, development and the care he receives. All of the teachers are wonderful and genuinely enjoy engaging with the children. There is regular communication through the Brightwheel App of what they are doing during the day, photos, snacks, meals, naps, and potty/diaper changes. Also, there is always an open line of communication with Ms. Maile (director), the staff and parents which I really appreciate. If there is an issue (which my child is not perfect!), we are notified and work together to find a solution. Most importantly, when we pick up my son in the afternoons he is always happy which makes us feel much better as working parents.

We started here in August 2023 and my daughter loves it. The teachers all care a lot and take good care of all the kids. They make and provide all the food there and my daughter eats almost everything! It makes it very easy not to worry about prepping food. It’s also the only daycare we could find that opens at 7am so we can actually drop her off and get to work on time! It works great for our family! They also post lots of photos and are very play based.

My daughter has been attending Muse Academy for 1 year now and started at 6 months old. She absolutely loves it! The staff is very kind and I love seeing her light up when she arrives each morning! Thank you!

I was on a long extensive journey trying to find a daycare/preschool for my child until I found The Muse Academy. When I toured or checked out other facilities, there was always one or few red flags that made my confidence in these places fall. It was either seeing no kids at all during the tour, or also teachers or staff not interacting or trying to with my child during the tour or also as a busy parent already, some expected for me to provide all meals for my child. When I toured The Muse Academy, I loved everything about it. The classrooms, the environment and although my child was not yet enrolled, I saw interaction from the teachers or staff with him and that made me love this place more. On another plus side, they use the Brightwheel app as well! Daily updates on your child with potty breaks/diapers changes, naps, meals etc is a plus. As a parent we already have a slight anxiety on how our kids are doing wherever they may be and this app Brightwheel helps us to know how our child is doing. One thing I’ll also add, is you can tell the staff and teachers love working here as well, plus if you happen to catch a glimpse of the children during the tour you will see that they are happy and playing and that is very important. They also work with Crystal Stairs and I believe also Children’s Home Society as well. I hope to keep my child here as long as I am able to 🙏🏼
