Labs To Go is located in the Arrowhead section of Virginia Beach on Parliament Dr. It took me a bit to find the area since it's in spot not well marked. It is part of the Parliament Drive Professional Building. My visit here was on July 13, 2023. It was time for my quarterly lab draw, which I have been doing at the Quest Diagnostics location at Walmart. However, after waiting there for about 45 minutes, no staff ever showed up. Later that day, a message would come out that they would be closed and to reschedule the appointment (this was about 4 hours later). Since I was already fasting and looking to get it done, I started looking at other places that take Quest Diagnostics as the lab order is covered 100%. In the end, I made my way here to have the blood draw taken care of. I almost missed where the building was. It looks like it was converted to businesses, as it looks like an old motel was here before. They are located on the second floor, so you can only access it via stairs from what I was able to see, so you probably won't be able to get up there if you can't use the stairs. Once I came inside, there was a nice associate at the counter. She asked what brought me here and I told her it was for fasting labs and that I had the lab order available on my phone. After getting that squared away, there was a cost to have this done. Mind you, this was not expected as it was supposed to be covered 100%. Essentially there is a $30 convenience fee (at least that is what it seemed like to me). It's a fee for all out there, as it ended up costing $31.19 because they charge a credit/debit card fee too. After that was done, I was taken back to a room with the chair for the blood draw to take place. After everything was verified, the blood draw took place and then had me verify the info on the test tubes. After that, the process was complete. The blood draw portion took less than five minutes. Overall, everything went well with the process. This is actually well outside the area that I would normally go to have the blood draw taken care of. The associate was caring and understanding, so there was nothing wrong with that at all. There wasn't an overall wow factor and the convenience fee was a bit of a turn off for me. However, if you are looking to have labs drawn through insurance and close by, this is a viable location to have it done.

Do not let the the outside appearance fool you: the people who work this small office are the best. Joy, the manager, is incredible and does everything professionally and is the best blood technician i have ever had. She and her co-worker Michelle are on time, helpful, and my experience with Joy was that she knows what she is doing and does it safely, respectfully, and efficiently.

I was recommended by a friend. I live here in San Diego I found out I may have a brother a few days ago, he lives in Huntington Beach. To make a long story short we wanted proof we were siblings. I called Labs To Go, I gave them our information, they contacted us within 24 hours. Raychell from Labs To was very professional with setting us up with a lab location near our home, we went the next day. We will have the results within 2 to 3 days. We both are EXCITED and very satisfied with there service. Thank you Labs To Go!

The service is by appointment or walk in. I was able to get a drug screen for my externship/school. One of the customers had kids and we're letting them run around and whine the whole time which made the wait longer than it was.

An employee by the name of Rochelle at the Parliament drive location, is highly rude and unprofessional. Her tone was awful. I stated I took my testing maybe early January, she called back and said you're testing was not done in January it was December in a disgusting tone. I asked her if she could send my documents to another recipient since the last one if they even sent them, we're not received. I was told they only deal with one person at my school and it would go to her. She didn't try to help in any other way but to inconvenience me to come pick up my documents as if it's not part of their job to send them to requested recipients. As I was still talking, the employee hung up on me. When I called back, her attitude once again was awful. She had someone in the background as well making comments. Awful experience and needs more professional employees.

This office did an awesome job taking care of my needs. Even when I was having trouble they worked with me. They were professional, courteous, and very accommodating. I appreciate there hard work for customer service and wanted loved the fact they worked around my schedule when I wanted to come back. I highly recommend lab to go.

The people at Labs to Go were very professional and kind. It was difficult to get blood from me and they were very patient and took their time to help me have a good outcome and get the tests I needed completed. I highly recommend them for all of your testing needs!

I went in to get a drug test for my new job today. At first, I left disappointed after an interaction with the receptionist. But after talking to the owner on the phone. Everything was cleared up and better understood. I came in. Showed them my ID and forms, they took me back. The nurse was very friendly, polite, and professional looking. I was maybe there for about 15. If you have kids, make sure you have someone to watch them in order to make the testing easier for everyone and so you don't distracted.

Getting quick labs done can take forever but here I was able to get in and out in less than 30 minutes. Everyone was so nice and friendly and being afraid of needles they made it not scary! Lol

I love Northwestern hospital. I had all four of my kids there. Northwestern's staff is so loving and caring. I really love the fact that northwestern and children memorial teamed together. That was the best idea ever. I love meeting new people. I always wanted to work at northwestern. I also have plans to go back to school to be a RN.

If independent contracting is the way to Go, then this is the job for you. You have to file your own tax for this type of work. Traveling all over the State and not enough work. The stretch is too great for me.

Zero Stars. If you need anything important done DO NOT GO HERE!!! I paid $1500 for a prenatal paternity test here on Oct 8 and was told 5-7 business days the results would be in. 9 business days later I had to call them to find out the results were inconclusive. I understand things happen, but the lack of communication for the price is unacceptable. Instead of offering a refund they offered me to come back for a second test for no extra charge, only to get burned a second time. Inconclusive results and I had to call them to find out three days after the promised return day for the results. If you do not know how to deliver a service (especially one as expensive and time pertinent as this) please don't offer it!

I don't like getting blood drawn and from the hand no less was terror, but the ladies today at Labs To Go at 5541 Parliament, made the process so easy. With life situations as they are today... kindness is like GOLD and these ladies delivered. Everyone delivered from the receptionist to the lady drawing the blood. The lady drawing the blood asked me if I was comfortable and truly calmed my spirit and assured me that the process will be quick and easy and another lady (I didn't get her name either thank you). As most of us know drawing blood from the hand is not fun but, this time I didn't feel it at all. Long story short I enjoyed my lab works and they showed me kindness and professionalism. They deserve a better location because they are stars.

Great customer service. A variety of tests can be done without a doctors order. Cash pay so it is affordable. Owner is great at educating people about the health care system. They will do mobile lab testing for individuals and businesses for those that can not travel to an office.

Usually a list of names and numbers will be listed on your desk when you come in to call and see if the patient would like to receive certain care. We can travel to there homes or they can come to the facility and receive the care they need. We receive faxes daily for patients and or there jobs/company to receive a certain care or examination.

This place didn't look very sanitary first of all. Their website says that they accept insurance. They DO NOT. When we walked into the office the girl looked at us as if she were irritated w/our presence and said one word to us. Yes? Said with a attitude. We asked about getting lab work done and another older lady walked up and said they did not accept insurance. When we stated that their website said that they do she then got an attitude with us. The other girl smacked her lips and rolled her eyes. At that point I looked at my husband and said lets get out of here and go somewhere better. We found a place the same day that was much nicer than this place and less than 10 minutes away. This place is also in a run down old hotel building.

I use this to keep my skills up. Due to my location it does not offer me a lot survival ship. NO benefits, it does not pay for mileage sometimes. You travel at your on risk. You have to have a vehicle. The pay is per person so it lacks security. It is a good educational took for me. Pros: Educational Cons: Lack of work

I learned a lot as an extern. Management and team were awesome. There really isn't any hard parts at this job. you do get the chance to draw blood, administer drug test and do basic physicals.

Ladies at Labs To Go are very attentive and professional. The jobs are flexible and are up to date with job openings. Although they are based in another state they have job offers all over MA, jobs do vary and so does availability.

At first I wasn't sure what to expect since pulling up it didn't look like much. I was greeted by a very nice lady at the front desk and she helped me figure out what I needed to get done. I was in and out pretty quickly. The lady, a medical assistant I believe, had no problem drawing my blood. She was very nice. I went back a few days later to get my PPD test read and there was a note to refund me some money since they overcharged me. I really appreciated they're honest. I got my results back very quickly. I also went back today to get my vaccination card corrected and they fixed it with no problem and provided me with additional paperwork to submit to my school regarding the vaccinations. I am giving it four stars, however, because I went to do my school physical at their other location and it was entirely too confusing and was located at a truck stop. No thanks. I'll definitely stick with the easier to find and nicer Parliament Drive location.
