ELA planted 9 new osmanthus on a berm in my garden. To prevent runoff, they also shaved the berm and turned (and mortared) existing Belgian Block to create a retaining wall and a beautiful patio border. Planting was done in January, when bushes are dormant and should be able to withstand the winter. BUT, February was brutal and 6 of the bushes did not make it. But because ELA replaced all 9 osmanthus I have the beautiful garden I'd planned. Can't wait to work with them on a fountain.

Thank you to ELA for a wonderful design/build experience! While it's easy for potential clients to visit the ELA website and see the quality craftsmanship, it's quite another matter to feel complete comfort from first meeting to finshing touches. We considered our vision to be a bit unique in that we wanted some big structures in a small space which presents it's own challenges such as water, utilities etc. Keith and the crew at ELA were superb at identifying the concerns and planning contingencies along the way. Keith designed a workable plan within a week of seeing the space which convinced my wife and I, Keith and the crew were the right company (2 other well known contractors didn't believe we could bring our vision to life with the limited space). Now, I know what things cost and how to run a business and with a 15x31 pool, 15x20 louvered pergola, fire pit, 14x45 deck, 50ft. retaining wall, underground water mitigation, grand landscaping, permits, utilities, lighting etc. this project would not be inexpensive, but ELAs contract price was well within reason and ELA met the contract price. I just can't say enough about the creativity, professionalism and personal touch ELA showed throughout the project. We've hosted many a party and will do so for a long long time - many thanks to ELA; our old contractor and new friends!!

ELA redid our existing patio, walkway, landscape and added a pondless waterfall, outdoor lighting and privacy screen. The workers were polite, knowledgeable and hardworking. The owner understood my vision while adding their own expertise and ideas and was hand-on throughout the project. The project was completed quicker than we expected.

I cannot recommend ELA more highly. We contracted with them on our patio project. Their proposal was comparable in price to a much smaller contractor with a smaller crew and significantly less experience and was 40% less than a well-known and also well-respected firm. From the inception and design of the project they were creative, knowledgeable and sensitive to our budget. They went the extra mile (literally and figuratively) to source the travertine of my choice. I was very impressed by the craftsmanship and work ethic of the ELA crew on site (besides being uniformly nice people). They were quite respectful of the property and minimizing any damage throughout. When a minor issue arose, they handled it and resolved it promptly and professionally. All who have seen their work have been effusive in their praise. I join them. We were not close to being the most important (largest) job they had--but they treated it like it was. We made the right choice.

I can't say enough about the great job ELA did for our paver patio and bluestone sidewalk renovation! The crew was hard-working and showed up on time every day. I expected them to power wash the patio & sidewalks, install new sand and seal it, but they actually went stone-by-stone leveling the surfaces and replaced some cracked pavers with extras I had in storage. This is normally a very messy process, but the crew washed down everything after the power washing and added new mulch to the beds. They even power washed the driveway before they left! The sealing made the 10+ year-old patio look practically new. They also painted the pillars on our outdoor pavilion (an addition to the project). It's clear that the crew takes pride in their work and craftsmanship, which is so rare today. The price was also less than another quote I received. Would definitely recommend you call ELA for your outdoor project! I will definitely do so for my next one.

Keith and his team were fantastic from start to finish in building our new backyard patio and landscaping. We had some issues dealing with our township upfront, and his design team was very communicative about the issues and re-design efforts. During the job, the ELA team was committed to getting the job done right and in accommodating any issues or requests that we brought up during construction. During the final phase, they even freshened up the landscaping around the entire house (which was not expected or part of the contract), adding some plants and perennials where other garden beds were bare. It was a pleasant surprise and a really nice touch to finish the project. Keith and team have absolutely transformed our backyard into a space we'll enjoy forever!
