I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience so others can make an informed decision. My mom originally found Lillian online for microshading after her cancer treatment left her with sparse and uneven eyebrow growth. Her initial appointment went well, and Lillian did a great job restoring shape to my mom’s brows. I was impressed with the results and decided to book an appointment for myself. Before my appointment, I communicated with Lillian and showed her photos of the look I wanted. I specifically requested a feathered, natural-looking technique that would make my existing brows appear fuller. She assured me she could achieve that look.At the appointment, everything started off fine. After applying numbing cream, Lillian mapped out my brows and then shaved off a significant amount of my natural eyebrow hair without discussing it with me beforehand. I was surprised and uncomfortable, as I assumed any excess hair would simply be waxed or trimmed. Despite my concerns, I trusted the process and allowed her to continue. The procedure took about two hours. When I initially looked in the mirror, I thought the results looked okay. However, once I got home and had a chance to look more closely, I realized my brows were not done the way I had requested. Instead of the feathered, natural look we had discussed, Lillian primarily used a shading technique and added only a few strokes at the front of my brows. When I contacted her the next day, she explained that she chose shading because I have a lot of eyebrow hair and believed it would look better. The problem is that this was not what I asked for. As my brows healed, I also noticed they were uneven, with one side appearing darker than the other. I brought this to her attention, and she told me she would correct the issues during my touch-up appointment.Unfortunately, things became even more concerning when my mom went in for her touch-up appointment. My mom’s original brows only had very minor unevenness, and all she wanted was a small adjustment. Instead, Lillian made them significantly thicker, much darker, and noticeably uneven. The results looked far worse than before the touch-up.The biggest issue throughout this experience is that Lillian does not seem to listen to what her clients are asking for. Both my mom and I clearly communicated our concerns and expectations, yet she chose to do what she thought was best rather than what we requested. It is disappointing because our initial experience gave us confidence in her work. However, after seeing both my results and my mom’s touch-up results, I would not recommend her services. I will not be returning for my touch-up and will instead be seeking corrective work from another artist who listens to clients and delivers the service that was requested.
