My Buster was the cutest, funniest puppy—and he got away with far too much freedom and not nearly enough structure. By the time he was three years old, we started experiencing behaviors that were no longer acceptable and, eventually, became serious.As the president of a dog rescue, I’m often asked for dog training recommendations. I had already seen the great results Al achieved with several of our adopters, so when Buster began attacking other members of the pack in my home, Al was my first call for help.Buster went to Longoriahaus for their four-week training program. I was recommended Longoriahaus dog training to work with our 5 year old golden-doodles reactivity. He had previous board and train experiences but developed reactivity over the last few months and we weren’t sure why. After multiple private sessions with Al and his team we are able to go to the park and places with other dogs without him reacting. Now after the lessons we have the skills and knowledge to continue working with the reactivity and what to do in the chances he does react to other dogs. Al gave us clear communication on how to do all the skills along with working on other small things for Kylos obedience while working on his reactivity all together. With the hope to have the availability to continue with Al and his community with group classes to continue working with Kylo I would 100% recommend Longoriahaus Dog Training

Just finished up a 3 week board and train with Al and his staff for Biscuit, 7mo pit bull puppy. Her progress was noticeable even just after one week! His training techniques are broken down to easy to remember steps. The interaction each week for me to learn WITH Biscuit was key. That also made it easier to continue reinforcing the lessons at home on the weekends. It’s a generalized basic training, but he will point out areas to improve on to tailor make the experience better for you and the dog. The in home session after the initial training was absolutely tantamount in honing in on ways to improve her behavior in her every day surroundings. It’s a very well rounded program! I thoroughly recommend his training and am looking forward to staying part of the community!!

Jacob just completed his one month training and I couldn’t be more pleased! Al and his team did a remarkable job with my 4 yr old German Shepherd.The difference in his behavior is like night and day!!I love the way they train with kindness and affection. Jacob was always happy and anxious to get there, plus they work with the owner during the entire process to deal with individual issues so we can be successful when our pet is back home.I highly recommend Longoriahaus Dog Training and look forward to a continued relationship with them for the remainder of Jacob’s life!They are the best!!!

I can’t recommend Longoriahaus house enough! The commutation from Al and his team was amazing throughout my 10 month old Bernedoodle’s 4 week training. They were knowledgeable, patient, and truly cared about helping both me and my dog succeed. The techniques were easy to follow, and I saw noticeable improvements in my dog’s behavior and confidence just after her first week. Al is awesome, I've know him over a decade and have sent him 2 dogs for basic training. He continues to help me with little problems and offers free group classes for past clients. You can't go wrong with Al.

We completed Al’s 4-week Board & Train program, along with a few private and group sessions. Our goal wasn’t to teach our rescue dog, Wynn, a bunch of tricks—we wanted her to master a few core commands and become more neutral and confident in everyday situations.After the Board & Train, we realized Wynn wasn’t the problem—we were. While Al had built a great foundation, we needed help applying that training in the real world. Al was incredibly patient and took the time to train us on how to effectively use the commands and e-collar Wynn had already learned.Because of that guidance, Wynn has made tremendous progress. She now joins us on off-leash adventures, settles calmly while we enjoy meals on patios, and is overall a dog we can confidently bring along and enjoy life with. We’re grateful for the foundation Al gave Wynn and the support he provided us as owners.
