This is response to my mother’s non-service by Keicha the owner of Brows & Co. My mom is a very nice and good person. She gives the benefit of doubt to everyone. She has been very upset about the treatment she received from this lady’s company. My mom is a supporter of small business and especially women owned businesses. My mom started recording the conversation with this person and I was quite appalled by her lies she wrote back. I heard a lot of it and I tell you, I have never heard anything like that from a business owner. She could have just put a few strokes apart and been done with it. I heard her say she knows her capabilities and she could not do it. My mom told her that she was correct, she would not allow someone who lacked confidence to do the job work on her face. My mom gets this done every few years without fell. The lady said my mom’s eyebrows were too dense with her own hair to get it done. Now, she is telling my mom to be patient getting her money back??? Everyone, if this ever happens to you. Do not leave the place. Simply call the police and do not leave. The police will give you a report on the spot and demand the owner give you your money back. She cannot keep your money as she is the one who said they could not perform the work. It is illogical to think someone should wait for a refund 5 plus days when they denied services to you! Also, she requested half the money two and half weeks in advance to even make the appointment. Her cancellation policy where she keeps your money can also be negated. Her disregard for business law makes me think she should not be in business. Bad business! Don’t waste your time! My mom is still fighting for her money back! She will pay much more than the refund if she continues down this path! Less

Beware of someone who makes you pay in advance weeks before your actual service, then won’t return your money! Oh, I was able to get my brows done! And guess what- like I said, she is a joke and not anyone’s Master Brow Tech. Her reviews are fake! Why did she not give me my money back the day she said she wasn’t capable if she cared so much? Not a single client in her office space. She needs to pay rent - hence the ridiculous $900 overpriced rate. Or? Did she look up my name and saw who I was ;-), perhaps that’s my special rate?——————————————————————-Ok. So let me share this. I made an appointment with the owner Keicha on 9/3/24 for microblading on 9/19/23 at 4pm. After speaking with Keicha about her business she sends me an invoice the same day for $900.00. In order to book the appointment you have to pay half of the bill which in this case was $900.00. She never told me the amount just sent the invoice. I paid the deposit amount. After paying I read that your deposit is lost if you cannot make your appointment. I spoke with her again and asked the owner Keicha why she did not apply the 20% discount to new clients advertised online, she nonchalantly says she will apply the 20% discount to the balance after the service is complete. I made sure she put this in writing.I arrive to my appointment 7 minutes late due to terrible traffic. She tells me to lay on the bed so she can look at my brows. During our previous discussions I explained that I had microblading in the past and got a retouch every 5 years or so. After wiping off my pencil makeup she then stated she recommended I do powder brows. I asked why and she explained she did not want to damage my brows. I advised that I did not want a dark black or a harsh color and she agreed. I showed her pictures of my brows when they were done and when I put my makeup on daily, I shared that I apply about 5 pencil strokes on each brow everyday. She starts talking nonsense and says my brows are heavy densed with my own hair. According to her micro blading would bleed, of course they do. That’s why my previous brow tech put few strokes apart to help with any bleeding. Keicha starts pontificating about how she doesn’t want me to be disappointed and she knows her abilities. At this point, I am a bit shocked. I explained I have been getting my eyebrows done for 18 years. She has her Assistant sit there while we are discussing my eyebrows.After I arrived and was asked to lay down on a bed instead of a professional examination and look at pictures as well as perhaps her approach, I agreed with her that I do not want her touching my eyebrows if she does not have the skill set. She said she knows what she is capable of. At this point I’m a bit concerned that this person who claims to be a master brow tech cannot perform a simple refresh.After seeing her body language I knew this wasn’t going to happen. I further went on to say that I am a business owner with multiple businesses and she is correct to not move forward. I also advised I have several friends on the state board and please refund my money. She agreed and said it will take 5 days or so. Exactly why you don’t make people whom you never met for a consultation pay some ridiculous amount of money. Her rate is double the industry. She is no Master anything. Last, when I asked her what she had on her eyebrows, she responded “nothing”. Then later said brow powder?? Less

I previously had microblading done years ago so I had an idea of what to expect. Kechia herself is nice enough but the end result of her work was not worth the $725 I spent. Although she took time mapping and planning the brows, they looked very much freehand. I understand the idea that eyebrows are meant to be sisters, not twins but my eyebrows don’t even look related. They don’t look like they live in the same neighborhood. One is low set, thick and straight, the other is high set, arched and thin. This is even after going for the touch up session which was meant to balance them out. I was told they looked uneven because one of my brow bones was flatter than the other. 🙄 I would not recommend this service. It is too expensive to leave dissatisfied. When I voiced my discontent with the outcome I was placated by being told they looked good and “you look beautiful”, like I was a child. I’m sure they meant well. 🙄 Less

After my initial appt, my brows went from dark and beautiful to scabby to so light it looked like all the color went away then back to beautiful. After the touch up appt, I look like a walking eyebrow model! Kechia herself was professional in every sense of the word. She explained everything she was doing before and during the procedure. Anytime I sent an email, I got a response the same day -usually within the hour!
