Everything started off great with the representative visiting my home and answering every question. We had no doubt and decided to sign the contract back in August. Was told they
Would be installed in September and system was going to be up and running in October. Installation was done on time, but the inspection took almost 2 months. The panels were installed but they were not producing. I called luminasun multiple times and asked for a call back from the managers. No calls received. Had to call again and again until I was able to speak to one of the managers. I was told they were going to send a technician on a certain day. They never showed. Called them again, they rescheduled for the tech to come out and they were a no show once again. A man shows up without notice on a random day, he does the inspection and says everything is up & running snd he supposedly turnrd it on. Turns out he never turned the system on. Almost another month without receing solar energy. Called Luminasun again, Manager wss able to explain to me hpw tp turn pn the system, which I did and it started working. Then 2 weeks later a group of 5 guys show up at my to install the monitoring system. They took forever to do it. Had to come back the next day to finish. They went inside my house into my attic and drilled a hole into my bedroom wall for cables and made a hole in my laundry room wall, which they never fixed. They left without letting me know and never received a call to get updates. Last week another technician shows up, again without an appointment or call received and starts removing my inverter. He tells me he was told to install a bigger one. Well, I never got a call from luminasun to let me know what was happening. They left again without calling me to provide updates and I noticed my system was not working again. I have called the managers several times and I always get a rep saying they are not in the office and they will call me back. I have yet to receive a call from them.
Panels were installed in September, it is now February and I have not seen a change in my electric bill, I am paying both the panels and duke energy. It seems they are still not producing and I still haven't receive the monitoring information from luminasun.
Worse experience ever!
If this is not resolved within this week, I will file a complaint against this company with the BBB, the City & State.
