We initially wanted this lighting system as permanent Christmas lights but now realize that it is far more than that. I'm really happy with the quality and professionalism of Lighting Distinctions. Stephanie, the designer, listened to all of my needs and came up with a plan for both front and back yard, including several rounds of changes as we experimented with demo setups. Joel and the team of installers were on time and very thoughtful, and offered great ideas for final tweaks. They came to my house several times just to make sure everything was just right. No ask was too small, and everyone was kind and respectful throughout.My neighbors immediately noticed and sent me emails saying "the neighborhood has been upgraded!"I had no lights at all before, so it was kind of depressingly dark after sunset, and my guests would all come inside during parties. Now it's so beautiful out there that I just want to spend all my summer evenings hanging out -- I basically tripled the usable square footage of my house by creating lit 'rooms' outside.I'm loving the color-changing lights I put in front of the house: the phone app lets you schedule different colors and brightness for any occasion, so I've got colors for Christmas, St. Patrick's Day, 4th of July, etc. all programmed in.They only sell the VERY highest-quality lights, so they are pricy, but the full-service installation and long-lasting fixtures should last the life of the home.

Because of an irrigation issue, we had to have them come back and fix some very minor things that happened due to overwatering. The repair crew was wonderful; they came to our home on a very timely basis and diagnosed and fixed the problem. This company is truly outstanding, and I wish every contractor or installer I worked with was as responsive and responsible as Lighting Distinctions! Kudos to Stephanie, Kim and the whole gang!!

Lighting Distinction is a pleasure to work with. They are professional, organized and very good at creating lighting that is both artistic and practical. Their team works long hours to complete the job as fast as possible, allowing multiple opportunities for the homeowner to make changes large or small. The personalization that we received from Lighting Distinctions is what sealed the deal for us on choosing a company to install our outdoor lighting. The entire team was present (Stephanie, Joel and Mauricio) during our initial meeting. They offered us different options for the lighting and also brought the sample lights out at night to show us exactly what we were buying. This level of customer service was what made us choose Lighting Distinctions. They went even a step further because the brand of path light we choose was on back order, but that did not stop them from doing the install. They installed a different brand of path light that was available until ours came in. As soon as our original lights were available, they came out and replaced our lights with the "borrowed" ones. The pricing was as expected for the level of quality we were receiving. I would highly recommend this company.

We had uplighting done on the front of our home and it feels like a resort now! We are so glad we chose Lighting Distinctions. John, Stephanie and the team are all great.
