After checking my credit card statement I was charged $18.98 for 1 loaded potato with carne asada, I ordered NOTHING else, it wasn’t super loaded just an average large baked potato. I am quite shocked at the price. Y’all keep doing you. I won’t ever purchase again unfortunately.

Unfortunately I had a horrible experience with the lady working the stand this past weekend. Apparently I didn’t hear when she said they were out of meat, when I showed her that she had forgot my asada meat she SNATCHED the plate out my hand and threw it straight into the trash bin! I was in shock as my kids are standing next to me. Then she proceeded to shout “I told you we were out of asada!” I assured her I did not hear her tell me they were out of meats. Probably since there were so many people around, we are at a soccer field after all. She ignored my reasoning and gave me my money back but didn’t even apologize for her actions. I just can’t believe how she acted towards me in front of my children. I was upset but I did not want to make a scene at a place where so many families gather. So we walked away but I will never support this business again. We will be supporting the glizzy’s right across from them instead. So if you are reading this(lady in glasses that snatched my plate from my hands) I recommend you take some courses on customer service as you have none.

We had La Papas loaded potatoes at the Alvarado Street Brewery on a nice cold day down in Salinas, late February. The potatoes were enormous, served hot. We went with the Carne asada for our loaded potatoes and they were absolutely delicious! Hopefully, next time we can get the Birria potatoes, as those look just as delicious and the best part, this is a full meal..
