I needed to have my floor repaired after removing an old gas floor furnace in my living room. Since it's in the main part of the house, I really wanted the repair to match the original flooring as closely as possible. I texted Paul some pictures, and he was able to give me a quote over the phone. Once I agreed to move forward, he got me scheduled pretty quickly.Luis came out and explained what needed to be done. Since the original composite floor panels are no longer made, he had to cut individual pieces of white oak to match the exact size and keep the original look of the panels. You could tell a lot of time and care went into it. After carefully piecing everything together, he sanded and finished it to match the original color of the floor.Honestly, when it was done, I could not tell the difference. The repair blended in perfectly with the original floor. Really impressed with the craftsmanship and attention to detail. I'd definitely recommend Paul's Wood Flooring.

Paul and his strong and energetic crew removed the rug and pad downstairs (it's an upside down floor plan, the bedrooms are downstairs) and installed engineered hardwood.The carpet that came with the home after it was given a brief shampoo was horrible. We should have pulled it out earlier. Had a flea problem we never could get rid of and never seen a flea sinse.The hardwood was installed over a plywood subfloor and Paul warned us that you never know what you're going to find when you pull up the carpet. It wasn't too bad but the floor was not level. It also had some low spots.He poured self leveling cement very carefully and it was really several extra days to the job and 25 bags of cement and lots of grinding.Other than the added expense for the cement and labor the job came in on budget.About 1100 sq ftPaul and his crew are artists and experts. They are very careful of your possessions and they cover everything to shield it from dust. They work from about 8:30 to 4:30. So this time of year there was New Year's Eve and New Year's Day and there was Christmas Eve and Christmas Day so with those days off it took about 3 weeks Monday through Friday.We purchased our own hardwood product from Kingsly Hardwood in Industry with guidance from Paul. It was 5 in Brazilian cherry. Half inch thick. 2mn top layer.Aluminum oxide protective coatingProbably not thick enough to really refinish so we're being careful. If it lasts 20 years that'll be long enough for meI recommend him to all.

My living room was partly red oak and partly carpet. The carpet was worn out. Paul removed the carpet to find a large crack in the concrete slab, which he repaired. Then he put in the wood floor and finished it to match the original floor, which was about 25 years old. The result is beautiful! I would highly recommend Paul's Wood Flooring

Paul's did a floor repair/light buff and coat for me. There was a little bit of specialty work involved. Did a great job, completed in the amount of time quoted, on budget and good quality workmanship. Would highly recommend using them for wood floors and would personally use them again.
