When work started, he and his team always showed up on time. When the job got complicated by rain, the saw had to be moved inside and they were careful to cover everything with plastic to protect our furniture from sawdust and always cleaned up at the end of the day. If you want the job done right, hire Paul. I reached out to Paul because I read that he specialized in leveling floors. My floors were terribly unlevel and I needed a real pro to handle the job. I had already whiffed twice with two other flooring installers and was left with a flooring mess. I was adamant that the third time would be the charm and Paul did not let me down. I could tell from the first time I met Paul that he knew what he was doing and that I had chosen the right guy this time. I was pretty upfront with Paul about my situation and that I couldn’t afford for this to not go well again. Paul assured me that he’s been doing this for 30 years and has done many jobs more complicated than mine. Ultimately, a total of 40 (50lb) bags of self leveling concrete were used (across parts of 1000sqft). Paul was incredibly detail oriented and made sure the leveling job was done right before starting on the flooring install. This required additional concrete pours and some additional time, but Paul ended up staying late to finish multiple times to avoid extending our timeline as much as possible. Very appreciated. I also appreciated that Paul himself did much of the work. Paul had also recommended a flooring outlet to purchase the flooring from and they ended up being great as well (shoutout to Kingsly Hardwood Flooring in City of Industry). Thank you so much Paul! We hired Paul’s Wood Flooring to repair the disaster-of-a-job our previous contractor did on our floors. From start to finish Paul and his team were detailed and precise in their work. We had a quick deadline to have flooring and doorframes replaced before this thanksgiving holiday. We found Paul’s Flooring on Yelp. We received 3 different quotes for vinyl flooring for our entire house. Paul’s was the best and their customer service was amazing. They began the job and ended the job on time, not a day later. Every day of the job the crew arrived and worked the entire day. Every aspect of the job was communicated to us, when more flooring needed to be purchased, transitions needed to be purchased, where to purchase flooring, etc. One of the most memorable aspects of the job was when Zvonko recognized that one of the boxes of flooring that had been laid was slightly off in color, he had the crew pull up the planks and start over. Further, when the job was complete he came over to our house personally to ensure that the floors were polished and presented to us in a manner that reflected the company’s commitment to providing quality service. Our house looks absolutely amazing. It’s a brand new house as far as we’re concerned and if I had another flooring job to do I would hire Paul’s four times over. I am so happy to leave this review for Paul’s wood flooring and his crew. I had an incredible experience from start to finish. If you want professional service at an excellent price, Paul is the guy to call. First off, I got quotes from other companies. One thing other companies lacked is the licensed contractor on site. The whole point of getting the job done right is that the contractor has the knowledge and experience to do it right the first time. Other companies will send out crews, with a crew manager who generally isn’t licensed to manage the job. Anyways, with that said, Paul was there nearly every day to manage and inspect the work, Paul even performed much of the leveling himself. Furthermore, Paul came and measured the area himself, square footage as well as linear feet for the baseboards. His measurements were exact, so I felt strong integrity with the pricing, where other companies will over inflate the surface are for more money. His pricing was transparent, didn’t require a major deposit, and the additional charges at the end I felt were fair and necessary for fixing the subfloor and doing the job the right way. Additionally, Paul has been doing this for 30 years, he knows the trade and the craft. He does the job the right way the first time without asking questions. If they run into issues (which is more than normal since you cant see under old floors) he fixes it – no questions asked. The demo, quality, and professionalism was top notch. The timing was fair to do it the right way. My 1600 sqft house – demo 2 layers of floor, new plywood, and installation of floors and baseboards only took 8 ½ DAYS.
