I joined CrossFit Unchained as a drop-in for Friday Night Lights this past weekend while visiting San Antonio. They were very welcoming and supportive as I completed Open workout 24.1. Will definitely look to visit again the next time I’m in town!

Nice place, well equipped and people are really nice and friendly. It's perfect place to do your training if you want to keep a healthy and sustainable daily routine.

Great coach she knew what she was coaching, almost like new equipment. Every one was extremely nice. The huge knock I would have on this place (from my one time here) is the programming. Spent 45 minutes warming up for a 12 minute AMRAP. Coach veered from what was written on the white board / website and told us to warmup to the working weight of the WOD which was #135. I read as build up to a 2 rep heavy load clean. 10/17/23 "10 minutes. Which is what was on the website SKILL WORK 10 min to build up to a heavy 2-rep unbroken power clean * res :45 to 1:30 b/t sets" If you are a seasoned CrossFit go-er I'd look elsewhere. If you are newer this is your place!

We came to San Antonio for labor day weekend and wanted to visit a CrossFit box while there. We were very very happy we picked CrossFit Unchained! Not only was the workout challenging and fun, but the community was delightful! We accidentally left a necklace there and the owner graciously mailed it back to us. This has been my gym since 2017. I knew nothing about Crossfit, I just knew I was interested in trying something new. I have transformed my body over the years, Unchained gave me the tools I needed get stronger and be fit. I love the Coahes, especially Coach Alicia. I’m in town for a few days for a conference. This place is perfect. It’s like 3 minutes from my hotel. I slid right in like I’ve been coming for years. I’m 50 and way in the back of the pack as a CrossFit tee and everyone treated me so nice.

I have been a member for going on a year now and I have to say this has been the decision I have ever made! Not only am I getting closer to my goal and getting stronger and challenged to push myself but Coach Art and Alisia have been there with great guidance and support through my workouts! I hadn't done CF since high school and Unchained made coming back to the sport really accessible. I greatly appreciate that the coaches scale the workouts, making sure you have the movement and technique down before adding weight or complexity. They also now have Saturday yoga classes - free for members and $10 for drop in.
