I chose the right solar company! I did a lot of research and got multiple bids for the solar project at my house. Option One did the most thorough recon of the situation, including flying a drone and taking photos inside. They were always timely and professional in all communications. They were not the cheapest, nor the most expensive. Part of the reason I chose them was because they are authorized Tesla battery dealers and I realized that was the best way to go, with a Tesla Powerwall battery back up.Anthony and his crew were here bright and early on a Monday morning and were conscientious and careful with the installation. Anthony is a wiring master! Importantly, they took preventative action to have everything ready for the inspection. For example, they installed two grounding rods. The inspector came Wednesday, the system was approved and I received my PTO that Friday, just two days later.My system has been up and running since installation and is working beautifully. The whole process was smooth and professional. I am so glad that I chose to work with Option One Solar, I highly recommend this company.

Several years after install, Option One provided outstanding support in navigating a billing issue with our energy provider. Specifically Natasha, Ivan and Jorge were all excellent playing their respective roles in getting our situation sorted. We are delighted with the outcome! I called with questions 5 months after installation and I received a call back early the next day and Ashton was so polite and took the time to answer my questions and he even connected Ivan from Tech Support to verify that our system was running as anticipated. Option One was a life saver. After solar system failed, I contacted Option One and within a week it was fixed. They were prompt, professional, provided excellent communication, and excellent follow-up. George, the technician worked straight from 8 am to 2 pm, with no break or lunch! Option One Solar was a great choice for our residential solar system. They were easy to work with, very transparent on costs, materials and scheduling. They took care of the whole process from sizing the system to pulling the permits and handling the post-install inspection. I want to give a shout-out to Natasha and Ashton for really looking out for my best interests and explaining the difference between a backup switch and a backup gateway. This small but significant difference helped plan my home's future electrical design.

Option One Solar has been a great company to work with. They have been very accommodating and willing to comply with my many requests. The entire team was pleasant every step of the way. Although I do not have experience with any other solar companies to be able to do a comparison, Option One’s eagerness to make sure I was happy with every detail warrants a full 5 star positive review in my opinion.
