When I decided I wanted to try a natural birth I knew I wanted a doula and I feel so lucky that we found someone like Lauren! Working with Lauren was one of the best decisions we could have made during pregnancy and birth. During our first meeting with her, she made us feel informed(she is so knowledgeable!!) , supported and at ease. She took the time to understand our preferences and answer all of our questions leading up to birth. Helping to guide us on what was best for me and the baby.During labor, her calm presence, encouraging words and birthing techniques helped me through my natural labor. Not only did it help me, but made my husband feel comforted in an experience that was so foreign to him.(yes husbands, listen to your wife when she says she wants a doula, you won’t regret it!!) Both of us are extremely grateful for all of the support she provided.Lauren also supported us postpartum. Checking in with texts and making a home visit to see how we were doing as a family. We truly felt cared for every step of the way. We cannot recommend working with her enough and are so grateful she was a part of our journey!!

Lauren is such a wonderful person, friend, and doula! She cares so much about her clients and her work and truly supports her people. My goal was to have an unmedicated VBAC and Lauren helped prepare me and supported me for the entirety of my pregnancy, labor (almost 24 hours) and there is no way I would have been able to go unmedicated for as long as I did without her. Lauren will be your biggest supporter, cheerleader & advocate during labor & postpartum. I absolutely recommend Lauren to anyone who needs a doula!

Lauren was the for my 59 hour attempted VBAC. (Intermittently of course) I had birth trauma from my previous C-section. She was so encouraging, had me moving and in different positions often. We had so many discussions during my labor and during that time I came to peace with my previous C-section. I didn't get my VBAC but I have a healthy baby and finally peace of mind.Thank you Lauren for everything you did for us!Oh and the pictures 😍😍😍😍 so beautiful.

I didn't have a doula for my 1st birth but I did my 2nd! Boy could I tell you the absolute difference it made having a doula during my birth! Lauren was an absolute gem. She made my birth such a calm experience which was completely different than my last. She kept my birth progressing and cheered me on the whole time even when I was just so done. She is the reason I was able to have the type of natural birth I wanted which was no pain killers or epidural (I had a really bad reaction last time to it). I highly recommend and will be asking for her services again if we end up trying for one more.

Lauren was a huge part of our birth experience in bringing our baby into this world, and I could not imagine it any other way! I had a baby at the same time as one of my siblings so our parents were split for time to take care of both our needs. Having a doula for comfort during the gaps between nurse check-ins was a life saver and brought my partner and I the support we needed, especially during the end stages of hard active labor! She came to the house and practiced different laboring positions with my partner and I until we were both confident, went through the induction process so we were prepared for the hospital, and was present at the hospital to guide me through my first labor and birth process with induction, which I was super terrified of! She was also available to come to the house for a 2-week check-up postpartum, to ensure we settled in with home life smoothly. Lastly, I could always reach her by phone for advice a year after birth bc she understands questions/concerns come up we navigating new parent life haha. We had so many questions when we first got home with our newborn baby girl. We would do this all over again, and thankful for our Doula, Lauren, more than words can say!!

Lauren was fantastic from start to finish. Our pre-natal meetings were informative and a great way to build rapport before going into labor. Lauren was so supportive during my labor, especially when things didn’t go to plan (as they do!). She and my husband worked side by side, going on 24 hours without sleep, supporting me the whole way through. Not to mention she took photos of those first moments with our baby boy! We would highly recommend Lauren as a doula!

I’m honestly not even sure where or how to begin with this review!! Our experience with Lauren was exceptional and she was a huge factor as to why my birth ended up going as smoothly as it did. She met with us prior to going into labor so we were all on the same page about what we were hoping for with the delivery of our baby. During early labor my baby shifted and sat on a nerve causing severe pain down the left side of my belly and my entire left leg which no one can plan for. There were multiple times I was on the verge of panicking and she kept me calm and reminded me of what my body was capable of. We ended up arriving at Tree of Life birthing center prematurely but were able to stay thanks for Lauren advocating for me to our midwife. Without Lauren, not only would I have not been able to stay at TOL, it’s likely I would have had to have a c-section. She was able to give me tough love when needed, encouragement and coaching for me and my husband through the whole process. She set the tone for the delivery room with aromatherapy and flameless candles to make it the most peaceful place to be. Thanks to her coaching, I was able to relax enough that I went from 2-10cm in just over 2 hours and gave birth to a beautiful baby boy! There’s no way we could have made it through all that without her! You better believe we will never have a baby again without her on our birth team!! Thanks Lauren for all you did for us!!
