I had a hip replacement 6 months ago and this plus the lockdowns left me feeling less than physically strong in my legs which had lost a lot of power due to waiting for the new hip! I’d never really thought about the importance of strength work and nutrition until recently, but on the recommendation of a friend I joined the Ladies Group PT in January and I have to say it was a great decision. Michael, Tarryn and the team have been so welcoming and support everyone with working towards their own goals. Having never lifted weights in my life I am amazed after only 6 weeks with how far I have come. The nutrition side has also been important for me and I really have noticed my energy levels increasing as I avoid the peaks and troughs of sugar boosts and focus more on protein in my diet. Everyone is so friendly and there is no pressure in the any of the classes which was always my concern with joining a gym. I’m looking forward to building on a great start to 2023 😀 Less

A fantastic group! I've tried so many gyms but get demotivated very quickly and never really knew what to do for my body to strengthen it without hurting myself! I've been a member of PT since August last year and I love it. The classes are fun, everyone is friendly and Michael is great at motivating you to do more than you thought you could and adapting exercises to suit previous injuries. I feel stronger, fitter and I think I might even have some muscles lurking in places I never knew I had muscles! I also appreciate all of the great food and nutrition tips to go alongside the exercise and even quite like the post exercise aches as I know it means I've worked hard. Nothing has changed since we have gone online, you just need to find something to act as a weight (I've even seen people using wine bottles) and hey presto you can join in a class from the comfort of your lounge, study, bedroom wherever takes your fancy! Since joining in May I have changed my food, stopped smoking, become fitter, much stronger and today ran up Snowdon on a half marathon Trail which covers just over 3400ft but I felt so much stronger than last year. My pictures show muscles and for some reason I felt so happy to see road that we spontaneously burst into push ups. We had a ton more fun than last year, got a course PB and still stopped for silly selfies, twerking, stretching and a toilet stop! Next stop NY marathon ! Joined this lovely group last April and I have not looked back since . I really look forward to coming to the classes, always something different so never gets boring. Well, I never thought I would enjoy attending exercise classes as much as I do now. Realising in January that I had five and a half months left before my wedding day, I nervously attended my first group PT session and I have not looked back. The flexibility of the sessions has made it easily fit in to my life. I look forward to attending every single session and come away feeling great, albeit a little achy at times but that’s also what I love about it :) . Michael’s positive, enthusiastic energy certainly plays a huge part in it, along with the variety of lovely ladies that also attend. I love the variety of sessions, the great nutritional advice and all around support. I feel so much better for going, both physically and mentally….and fitting into all my old clothes that were too small for me is a bonus as well. Thank you very much. Less

Having been a gym goer for many years I was finding the experience not only boring but lonely, and was beginning to lack motivation. The results had gone stale too! It also took too long out of my already short day. A friend mentioned this PT group and said I should give it a go so I did. These classes are ace! Not only do you get to enjoy friendly banter but we all motivate each other too and Michael is there to crack the whip and most importantly to make sure that our technique is correct so as to avoid injury (something you definitely don't get in most gyms). The variety of classes ensures that ALL muscle groups are worked (and they most certainly are!) and you never get bored. Your overall progress is regularly monitored which also keeps you motivated and wanting to try harder. I would strongly recommend being part of this friendly and fun group. It has given me a fresh and thoroughly enjoyable new lease of physical motivation � Go on, do it, you won't regret it! � If you do you can just leave at anytime too, no annoying annual contracts, just one months notice required!
