If you’re considering hiring this company to work on your house, please think carefully before doing so. You may end up wasting both your time and your money. ps: I have to give 1 star due to the system limitation, but the service doesn’t even deserve that.

For over five weeks, my mate has waited for this so-called “professional” painter to complete a straightforward job. What he got instead was a masterclass in incompetence."Meticulous" instead left behind:- Dripping paint streaks down walls and trims- Paint all over the floor of the shower alcove- Paint splattered on tiles, corners, and even the DOORBELL (how?)This is not a case of minor touch-ups needed, it is flat-out careless work. After weeks of delay and endless excuses, the result looks like it was done in a rush by someone who’d already given up weeks ago. Now my mate will need to get another, reliable painter in to re-do this frankly shocking job.Reading other reviews here, it seems as though when questioned, Mohamed dodges accountability and shifted blame instead of fixing the mess. For someone who claims to be a tradesman, this level of disregard for basic standards is alarming.I have shown the pictures of the job to many of my mates who are tradespeople in the building industry and to say they were shocked is putting it lightly.If you’re considering hiring this painter, save yourself the frustration. Poor workmanship, poor communication, and absolutely no pride in the finished product. Spend your money elsewhere, or at least with someone who knows how to keep paint off the shower floor and doorbell.EDIT - Oh hey now they are making veiled threats?

Warning: Avoid This Painter.Unprofessional and Poor-Quality WorkPlease do not use this painter unless you want to go through the same frustrating experience as we did — and end up paying twice to have a terrible job fixed properly.He should rename his business "Ridiculous Painting", NOT MeticulousHere’s why:This so-called painter took four weeks to “attempt” a job that any professional could have completed in about a week.He talks a good game, and his website might look impressive, And I can't believe the Reviews on his website.DON'T be fooled, his workmanship was an absolute disgrace & unacceptable.He patched holes poorly, then painted straight over them, insisting they wouldn’t be visible when he finished, but they clearly were.He spray-painted walls, leaving paint runs, overspray, and mess everywhere, which then dried and became a nightmare & extremely difficult to remove.Despite repeated promises from him that he would "fix it up,” he never did. He just mucked up things even more!!His work was slow, careless, and well below even amateur standards.Eventually, after 4 weeks of delays & more lies, my son & I had had enough of this nightmare & asked him to pack up and leave before he could do any more damage.We just couldn't see when he might actually finish or how he was going to rectify his poor workmanship.Now, we have to pay another professional to repair the damage and repaint the apartment properly.Please Do Not Use This Con Artist.If you value your time, money, and sanity, do not hire this painter.

One of my best friends recently used this painter and I have been hearing about the saga of pain and misery Meticulous Painting has put him through over the last month.When I heard that Muhammad had basically destroyed his house, I thought it might have been hyperbole.Then I saw the photos... normally bad reviews are about poor quality of work. This is on another level of bad. Meticulous Painting not only had poor standards of work, it borders on vandalism. I painted my own house and did a better job than this in less time. I genuinely don't understand how someone can call themselves a painter and do this to people.Muhammad had to be ejected from the premises after weeks of lies and false promises, so a competent painter could be brought in to repair the vast amounts of damage Muhammad had caused.Not only has Meticulous Painting caused actual property damage that will cost money to fix, they have inflicted a significant mental toll on my friend over the weeks.Frankly, I personally think they should count themselves blessed if he doesn't seek legal restitution.Run away as fast as you can.

For over five weeks, my mate has been patiently waiting to move into his home. Now this is already a place he’s worked hard to reclaim after dealing with a difficult former tenant. The house needed attention, including repainting to cover some wall damage and markings left by the former tenant.Unfortunately, my mate made the mistake of trusting "Mohamed Lamine Sylla". I typically stay out of others’ affairs, but after witnessing the full extent of this situation first hand, I feel compelled to speak.Mohamed repeatedly promised to complete the work, failed to deliver, and then gaslighted my mate with constant reassurances and excuses. Even after being given more than double the agreed time frame and a final ultimatum, he still failed to follow through.When it came to face that he dishonoured his contract, instead of taking responsibility, he tried to guilt my mate into paying by invoking personal hardships rather than just owning up. He even attempted to claim items (like curtains) that were only offered on the condition of completing the job. Because of the delays, the scheduled carpet installation had to be pushed back, creating even more disruption and cost.To make matters worse, the house still needs to be repainted because the job was never completed properly. Mohamed painted over items in the house, left paint on the floors and other surfaces, and caused leaks and splatters that now also need to be removed!Now I see that when confronted publicly via a review, Mohamed responds dishonestly, attempting to rewrite the narrative and save face?? This behaviour reeks of a pattern of chronic avoidance, emotional manipulation, and a lack of professional integrity.If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, I strongly advise against engaging this individual for any work. The emotional and logistical toll is simply not worth it.

My mate just hired this bloke Mohammed from Meticulous Painting SA to paint his house and honestly what a disaster. Been hearing about the whole mess for weeks and finally saw it in person the other day, shocking job. Overspray everywhere, paint on the trims, fittings and even all over the brand new Ring doorbell I got him as a housewarming gift, which is why I’m leaving this review. How the hell do you even get paint on a doorbell? My old man’s a painter so I know bad work when I see it and this is next level. Looks like he woke up one day, jumped on Facebook, found a cheap spray gun and thought how hard can it be. Stay well away from this clown he should stick to finger painting.

RUN! Mohamed is the worst painter you will find hands down. He spent almost 5 weeks to paint a two bedroom home. He's a compulsive liar, constantly gaslighting me with promises of finishing dates and attempts to convince me the work is good. He over sprayed EVERYTHING. Paint runs can be seen across all the walls and skirting. Quality of work is just terrible and even after five weeks, he wasn't able to finish the work. I was forced to kick him out in the end, and now my house is ruined. Somehow my house is in much worse shape now than before he started. He simply is not qualified, rather a random who bought a paint gun and doesn't know how to use it. Do not trust a word he says. Please take my advice and find someone else.
