Do you have a glorified Aussie tent built before the dinosaurs? Would you like to run more than one appliance at a time and join modern society? Dan's here for you! This has been written some 18 months after Dan attended, allowing some reflection on EME's service.Dan was very helpful through adjusting multiple quotes, proposing other options to our ideas and helping us understand the scope of work. We had a fair bit of work done over nearly three days. The major items were switchboard upgrade, two new circuits and a split system installation. Multiple general power outlets, light replacements & other miscellaneous upgrades were also carried out. Trades may be considered to cost a lot, and our project did, although my view is that customers should also be aware there's more to it than just on-site hours they're paying for.Dan stands by his work, definitely ensuring it's of high quality. It's also the little things, checking in with us about lighting installation orientation, confirming circuit layout, carrying out site clean-up, and even politely taking off work boots walking around the house (props Sara!).We'll look to EME again should we wish to have more work carried out down the line. I came across EME from a google search for local elecs. They have an awesome star rating, and it’s clear why after selecting them for our domestic job.Promptly after our first enquiry via their site we received a call from Dan. He was extremely polite and inquisitive about the works we needed done. He put the time into understanding our job so he can provide an accurate quote with no surprises. He followed up with a site visit to confirm the small details.We received his quote for a switchboard upgrade, series of external lighting, and internal bathroom mods. This also included our very fussy and complicated requests for lighting that can be toggled On/Off/Sensor, across multiple circuits. He immediately knew what was feasible, and suggested what designs of ours could be improved. He also provided recommendations for proper long lasting products instead of the cheaply made products we had originally been eyeing off. His expertise certainly came in handy. The quote itself was very detailed and fairly priced too.On Day 1 of the job he arrived with a very positive and professional attitude. He double checked the specifics of the job and then got to work. My wife and I both work from home, and Dan worked in a way that led to as little downtime to our power as possible, whilst ensuring he did so safely.Dan kept our home very clean as he progressed. Clearing away any mess straight away, as well as kindly taking his shoes off when coming inside (we didn’t ask him to). He really treated our home as if it was his own.The whole job took 3 full days, which was exactly what he estimated at the beginning. It was nice having him around as he’s full of laughs and overall an awesome bloke. When we weren’t having a yarn he was quietly doing his thing without needing to interrupt my wife or I (unless he absolutely had to).We couldn’t recommend EME and Dan enough, and 100% will be using them as our sparkies in future.
