My wife and I are so impressed with and pleased by the outcome of our backyard landscaping project completed by Valley Contracting & Concrete LLC. The keys to the success of this project:1) Communications - regular, daily status updates in group chat; plans documented and upheld; prompt and comprehensive responses to questions and concerns; ideas shared and respected.2) Project Management and Execution - Francisco was awesome! He was involved even before work actually started, and was instrumental in achieving quality and completeness of all tasks to the prescribed plans. Despite very hot weather, he was hands-on and active daily from the smallest to largest efforts, ensuring proper crew support as well. He led by example with great skill, and by his actions showed that he cared for our property. He was present to the end, even with the last cleanup before departing the site. We appreciated Francisco's efforts greatly.3) Owner and Office Management - Thomas was engaged and professional throughout, and ensured resources were available when needed. He negotiated our contract and terms very fairly, and scheduled our project to get done in quite a reasonable amount of time. Rachel was highly effective in creating efficiencies in the coordination, assisting with communications about materials usage as needed and with convenient scheduling and processing of payments.Ultimately, we obtained our desired results; see pictures... retaining wall and drainage installed with downspout connection and pop-up placed in requested respective locations; swells and dirt/ground moves implemented to route surface water away from primary structures properly and to satisfy vision for forthcoming features (e.g., access to swing from patio); rough grading for future project completed; leveled low and uneven spots in surrounding yard with dirt and/or sand; seed and straw placed in requested areas around patio to permit garden and rock bed additions by me and my wife afterwards.We highly recommend Valley Contracting & Concrete LLC for your home project needs, and we intend to do business again with this company/team in the future.
