We met the father and son business at a home show and was assured someone would call from the office to go forward with plantation shutters. About two weeks later someone called to set up initial measurements. We wrote a check for 50% of the project and did not hear back or receive a receipt for the check cashed by the company the very next day. I thought I was scammed. I called the office and thankfully they sent me the receipt. We set up an additional appointment at that time for accurate measurements. I did not receive a call back after the blinds were received by the company after the promised 5-8 week wait. I called and was told they received the blinds and they only call on Fridays to make installation appointments. I called on a Friday late afternoon:( We also never received a small % discount as promised at the home show. I’m happy with the end product. Our house was being built and was going to be used as a vacation home so this purchase was done through the internet and phone. The staff at Elevation Blinds answered all my questions regarding the different options for the shutters. When it came time for installation, there was a problem with one of the shutters and the installation team quickly informed me of the problem and Bruce in the office let me know that a new shutter would be ordered.
