Like many others, I taught myself how to play acoustic guitar. Basic stuff because I wanted to play some of my favorite songs. I learned basic open chords and shied away from barre chords and the like. And I got stuck and bored there for a number of years. I then decided I needed to invest in some online lessons. I felt I needed structure and guidance to see if and how I could get to a higher playing level. I came across Amber’s videos teaching some of my favorite songs and I loved her style and simplicity of teaching. I signed up for her level-up course a couple of months ago, and I am so pleased. I am learning to use much more of the fretboard with much more confidence. I’ve come to enjoy practicing and challenging myself again. I recommend her level up course to anyone wanting to improve and develop higher level skills, especially intermediate skills. I know you’re out there looking. Like I was.

I found trying to teach myself guitar from random tutorials difficult. There is a lot out there (too much, actually). In just a few weeks, I feel like I've made some progress listening to a singular voice with a well-designed roadmap to guide me through. I chose Stellar Guitar because of its patient pace and holistic approach to the instrument. Early emphasis on cords and strumming (covered equally), with introductions to other things I look forward to later in the course like fingerpicking and musical skill building. There are even modules on songwriting 101 and handling stage fright (one of my personal weaknesses).

I found amber’s style and approach to be just what I was after. Working at my own pace I can already see benefits and growing in confidence. Would highly recommend.

Hello everyone, I would like to recommend Amber's courses "The Stellar Guitarist". Simply because you learn all the basics from the beginning as it should be and gradually start learning to play songs. I played a bit before I started the course, but I've learned that there's a lot more to it than just knowing a few chords and playing a song. Also in her tutorials she starts from the beginning and completely dissects the songs so that you can learn to play them. Just do my opinion and from guitar Zero to guitar Hero.

WowThe Stellar Guitarist is awesome. I recently signed up for the fingerpicking guitar lessons. Amber is very good at breaking the lessons down so there is no question of what to do. Prior to the fingerpicking lesson I followed Amber on Youtube where I learned to play multiple songs. Using her as the instructor really breaks down the songs so they are easy to play. Thanks for, making guitar lessons fun.

Amber (The Stellar Guitarist) is a standout among those offering guitar instruction online. Her background as a music teacher shows. Her lessons are well constructed and easy to follow. She has an easy going style, and is always encouraging and inspiring. I've gone on to purchase her "Level Up" course and it has definitely helped me to advance my playing skills. You won't regret buying into one of her courses. All the technical stuff aside, if you don't like your teacher, you're probably going to move on. I'm happy to say that Amber's genuiness and sincerity will inspire you to continue learning with her.
