Finger PickingAs a 50-something self-taught beginner, YouTube was my friend and the vast array of teaching talent out there definitely helped kick start my guitar journey. However, having signed up to the Stellar Academy’s “Let’s Pick ii Up” finger picking course, I can honestly say, hand on my guitar neck, that it has been an absolute game-changer. Teaching yourself, there is always a nagging doubt that you might be doing something wrong and for the first time ever, I feel like I am learning properly, in a structured and manageable way. Amber is a legend and guides you through the modules like the consummate professional teacher that she is. Since starting the course, my guitar practice is something I look forward to. I cannot recommend this course enough – you will not be disappointed!

For a long time I put off learning barre chords and the notes on the guitar neck. Open chords is all I did. I finally decided to commit to learning note location and and barre chords. Fortunately, when I decided to find a website to help me expand my skills and knowledge I found Stellar Guitar. Amber's ability to clearly explain what I needed to do was very helpful. Her lessons are clear and concise. She has excellent teaching skills. Highly recommend.

I discovered Amber's teaching style after searching for an online instructor. I realized, from the beginning, that Amber was the right fit for my learning preference. Amber is not only musically gifted, but she gives precise instructions with her presentations that are easily followed. There are many teachers out there, but few that have the knack to entice learners to excel beyond their expectations. With ease, Amber makes you want to pick up your guitar and play. She's genuine and you can sense the pride she has in her students' accomplishments. Her courses are so worth it! And, unlike individual in person instruction, you can repeat your course over and over until it sinks in, or when you want a refresher.

Ich bin über Ambers Videos auf Youtube gestolpert, als ich eine Begleitmelodie für Simple Man gesucht hatte. Sofort gefiel mir ihre Art, wie Sie Schritt für Schritt alles verständlich erklärt. Dann kaufte ich mir zwei Ihrer Tutorial-Sets auf ihrer Homepage. Es hat sich wirklich gelohnt. Die Videos sind toll gemacht und motivierend. Es gibt pdfs mit Tabulaturen zum Ausdrucken. Heute übe ich fast jeden Tag ein bisschen und kann große Fortschritte erkennen, was wirklich erbaulich ist. Ich kann Ambers Tutorials sehr empfehlen.

I’m new to guitar and was taking private lessons. I found The Stellar Guitarist on You Tube and enjoyed her teaching qualities. I joined the free Bootcamp and eventually joined the beginners class. Amber has really put forth a commitment to teach from afar!
