We recently purchased a nightly-rental villa in a waterpark resort. At the time we purchased the villa, it was monochromatic and very depressing, therefore not renting at its full potential. We had no experience with interior decorators, but knew that in order to make the villa appealing, we needed professional help. To that end, we hired Lisa with 1584 Design with not more than a quick internet search. As a result of that relationship with Lisa and her team, we learned that all of our fears and concerns about hiring Lisa Fisher’s 1584 Design team were unfounded:1. Our initial fear that an Interior Decorator might be hard for us to relate to and deal with because we were concerned about dealing with a “larger than life” ego was unfounded. In fact, Lisa’s personality is so warm, comfortable and friendly, that we immediately hit it off with her within the very first minutes of our meeting. We consider her as a very dear friend and even family member.2. We were afraid we wouldn’t like the design, colors, and/or mood that might be placed in our villa. After learning about our life story, colors we were drawn to, and such, Lisa presented her design boards to us and reassured us that if we didn’t like something, we merely had to say and she would make changes. We did ask for a couple of very small changes and Lisa’s design became even more grand than the initial design. She has so many ideas to set moods and comfort in rooms. As we then saw her design boards come to life, they were even more appealing than we could imagine. Our newly decorated villa is so comfortable that we considered not placing it on the rental market and keeping it as our own little oasis, but that defeated the purpose of the initial purchase.3. After we hire an Interior Decorator, we will have to deal with rehoming, selling or disposing of all of the old items in the villa that were going to be replaced. Not so, in fact Lisa and her team took care of every aspect of transforming the villa including, the design, shopping for and ordering of items, coordinating delivery, removal and care of original furnishings, assembly and installation of new furnishings. In fact, she also staged and prepared the property for us (after our first stay in the villa), for advertising photos.4. An Interior Decorator will be expensive and “we, with the help of family members or friends, can probably make changes that will be just as impressive”. Was that opinion ever wrong! Lisa and her team earned everything they were paid (see the time that had to be spent in Item 3 above). Her design flows seamlessly through all 16 rooms (including 2 patios) and incorporates such beautiful colors, textures and design elements. Our family loves to spend time at the villa. But the thing that matters the most for this villa is the initial reason we hired Lisa – the villa has gone from one of the least rented villas in the resort to one of the most rented and the nightly rental fee has increased due to Lisa’s beautiful design transformation! Money well spent and wonderful friends made by hiring 1584 Design, Lisa Fisher.Don’t hesitate, hire Lisa and her 1584 Design team.
