Michael and his team have become such a blessing to our family! After years and years of feeling scammed by health insurance companies, we have finally found something that makes sense, works, and is also very affordable for our family of 5. We prefer functional and alternative medicine doctors, which can often be very expensive and not covered by typical health insurance- we are thankful these visits have been most always, totally covered! Or even better, when we are practically PAID to go because we receive a check in the mail after our visit. Even a recent emergency out of state that resulted in a trip to quick care, resulted in us getting paid almost $100! Aside from the financial benefits, customer service is great. Someone friendly is always available to speak to and help with any questions I have. Really can’t recommend them enough!

Michael and the team at Horton Insurance Group have been great to deal with. Not only is the insurance 70% less than what I would be paying other places, but all the preventative care has been covered 100% even simple stuff like chiropractic, acupuncture, massage, etc has been covered. We like to go to the doctor of our choice and when they are outside the network, the process is really easy for submitting the receipts and getting reimbursed. They even reimburse higher rates than a lot of the providers charge which means we get a check for the difference which makes the already low monthly premiums even lower by comparison. Haven't had any trouble getting anything I need. When I have had questions, Michael and his team are quick with answers. This is what health insurance used to be!

Not only did he stay in touch patiently over months of me moving states and deliberating over other insurance options.He cut my BCBS insurance cost in half & he helped me secure it despite some unexpected challenges. After years of being robbed by Florida Blue, I finally found an insurance broker that offers an excellent plan with actual benefits. At first it seemed too good to be true, but after comparing both plans, the plan that Horton Insurance Group gave me was a no brainer to switch to. The process to switch from one plan to another was seamless. We literally did everything over the phone and a few emails. The owner, Michael Horton is professional and knowledgeable on the plans. Any question I had (I had many) he was able to quickly answer. I run a PT clinic here in town and he sent me a screen shot of our name and address that comes up as In Network Providers under the plan. I am very selective on the plans that we accept at our clinic; that is what sold me along with the customer service that I received from the very first call. Within a week of calling Horton Insurance Group, I got a new affordable plan for my family and finally cancelled Florida Blue for good!

I don't even know where to begin. I have been working with Mike for over 3+ years, waiting for the right policy to come about for me, so I could drop work's coverage. Well, last November 2020, Mike had this new plan. I have never been more excited about Insurance. Over the last year, I was able to quit my job, go PRN and with 1. ER visit, 4 preventative health visits, 2 urgent care/sick visits... we have gotten overpayment checks from Insurance totally OVER $1500. The plan and Mike are absolutely incredible, compared to Florida's other available policies. Give Mike a call, you will NOT be disappointed.
