The initial scope of the project was patio flooring and pergola installation. The company proposed to install the pergola themselves, but when it became clear that it was not bolted down as per instructions provided 1 month ahead (Step 1), they refused to unmount it to fix the issue. I had to hire a professional installer and paid Ā£1,000 to dismantle the pergola. While drilling into the tiles, some cracked due to insufficient cement underneath. As a result, most of the flooring is now unstable five tiles, including stepping stones, are moving. I ended up dismantling the pergola and redoing all the flooring before proceeding again with the pergola installation. A new quote from another company to fix everything came to Ā£2,000, which means Iāve spent an overall of Ā£3,000 on top of the original cost, plus months of disruption: work started early January and is still not completed. The owner is a good person, but the team they work with is not professional. They appear to take jobs just to get paid, without proper attention to quality or procedure.See the attached pictures showing broken tiles, corners with clear evidence of missing cement, and overall poor or incomplete finishing. This experience has been an absolute nightmare, and I cannot recommend this company to anyone.
