Unfortunately, nice enough people, doesn't mean good service! I made the mistake of thinking if I went through a company like Steeline, it would be so much easier. I was soooo wrong! We had a shed build take a bit over 12mths which in itself is fine, but throughout the whole process, it seemed nobody wanted to take responsibility for what was happening (or what wasn't happening) & the issues with council. Having another home improvement build going through council at the same time, it was easy to compare service. In comparison, it would seem Steeline are almost out of their depth & only seem to care about the sale, not the service . The structure they have, means you are thousands out of pocket & still have no product! But then when questions are asked, the blame game starts. Thankfully there are a few good trades linked to Steeline. I can't recommend Troy Ashcroft Plumbing highly enough. He was super reliable & worth every dollar. If I had my time again, I would just go direct through the trades & either pay someone or deal with council myself. Don't make the same mistake as me. It will cost you more than money! Even if they did offer compensation for poor service (which they don't), they can't refund the stress! Less

Ordered colourbond flashing, told it would be take two weeks to fold up, which was fine. Called back three weeks later to see where it was up to as they hadn’t called back, they hadn’t processed the order, so back in the line for a 2 week wait. Called back two weeks later, “Nah it’s going to be another week.” Called back a week later, “Yep we’re doing it this week, you can pick it up Thursday afternoon.” Went in Friday morning to pick it up “Nah it’s not done yet, come back after 2:00pm this afternoon.” I’m not sure if there is anyone better to go to for your steel and roofing, but I’m confident that you won’t find anyone worse.
