Let me explain, From day one I had a problem with making the appointments 4weeks out, I told them because of my work schedule that doesn't work well for me, I will call u guys ard the 4weeks, to book my daughters appointment. They really don't want that because they want to charge u the late fee of the $25 when u miss ur appointment. However. it was working well for some months with me texting for her appointment appt until 1 day I decided to stay in the car and my daughter went in came out in about 15min, (yes they are fast) I get a text confirming an appointment for 4weeks n my daughter tells me they made her make the appointment. I go inside to tell the lady can u please cancel the appointment I will call 4 weeks, she claims something about the system but says ok I left..2 more months went by it was cool because again I went in the office with my daughter until last week..My daughter goes in by herself took about 15min and we leave, I get home and get a text from a different number confirming my appointment, I immediately call the number and I tell the lady please cancel the appointment I always call in. She didn't speak Good English and told me text the appointment line number she can't change. I texted the number I usually make the appointment on and no one answers. I text, hello I just left with my daughter and I never mk appointments bcuz i call in every 4weeks, can u plz cancel. I waited maybe abt 10min and called the office their closed so I called the number. At this point im pissed because why should it take all of this to cancel an appointment and why a note wasn't put in the system not to make an appointment, parent will call in 4/5weeks. Ok someone picks up. I say I'm calling about my daughter N I say her name.......... I said, I just left there n was n my car and I never make appointments and my daughter was pressured to make an appointment can u cancel the appointment..while I'm talking, a text come in from the text line,saying yes,we see the appointment was made we will cancel it.. ok I did 4get to mention when the lady picked up the phone I heard a baby so I did say it sounds like your home and not in the office. I think that rubbed her wrong from jump. So she starts yelling telling me this behavior is not gonna be tolerated and you will be terminated effective immediately from this office..Im like excuse me she's like yes I am the office manager and you will be terminated and a certified letter will be mailed.That's why I'm here, my daughter has 2 months left on her braces. This could of been avoided if the proper communication with the staff.. I'm not sure why when I went in the office they knew not to make an appointment because I was calling in but as soon as my daughter went in without me it was different. Besides this issue the lady that my daughter saw often their was nice. Again minimal English, however we made it work. My daughter had her braces on for about 2 years and if definitely was a change. The orthodontists are very kind and professional, but I had a problem with the girl at the front desk (white, brown hair), Smile Clinic dental has a referral promotion where they give you a $ 100 credit for it, my best friend went with her daughter to have her braces placed and gave my information for the referral, where the girl indicated that she had already written it down in the system, when the day of my daughter's appointment arrived I told the girl at the front desk that I had a $ 100 credit for the referral, she told me that there was nothing in the system, I called my friend to verify which girl at the front desk had attended her at that time and it turned out to be the same girl who was attending me, in fact there was a doctor nearby and she told her that it was true because she had installed the braces on my best friend's daughter, but the girl at the front desk "washed her hands" saying that there was nothing noted in the system and no They applied the referral credit only because she DID NOT WANT TO, and she did not take the blame for not having "written it down". I am a person who likes to recommend the places where I go, and I have many friends with children of the age and condition that need Orthodontics, but I will NOT recommend this clinic to them. I’ve been going to this office for over two years, and the service has steadily declined. When I first started, adjustments were $80, but now they’ve increased to $100. They don’t accept insurance and seem to charge for every little thing without transparency. On top of that, the staff and dentist rarely communicate about progress or when I can expect my braces to come off.Today, I experienced the worst treatment yet. I wanted my braces removed and was initially told it would cost $100, but when I arrived, they claimed it was $200. Frustrated, I decided to just proceed with my regular adjustment. During the adjustment, a staff member rudely interrupted the procedure, demanding immediate payment for broken brackets, as if I intended to leave without paying.To make matters worse, they tried to overcharge me by claiming I had three broken brackets when I actually had only two. When I pointed this out, the receptionist didn’t believe me and had to confirm with the dental hygienist. Even after verifying it was only two broken brackets, they still tried to overcharge me. I had to ask for a refund, which they reluctantly gave.This office is unprofessional, dishonest, and only seems to care about squeezing as much money as possible from their patients. If you value good customer service and fair treatment, stay far away from this place. Less

UPDATE:11/17/2024, I found the paper and added photos, got the total wrong it was actually $4,595, if what you guys says it’s true how did I get quoted that exuberant amount, now im really upset. For any reason, do not undergo orthodontic treatment at this place. After more than two and a half years of having my daughter in treatment that started when she was 16, her braces were removed. We followed exactly all the recommendations from this place regarding the use of retainers, clarifying that the instruction was to wear them only at night.Less than six months later, her lower teeth became crooked again. The explanation from the assistant at this place was that she had not used the retainers, which is absolutely false. They gave incorrect instructions so that the treatment would not work, or were negligent, and then charged us an additional $1400 for new treatment on the lower teeth, despite having paid several thousand dollars for the initial complete treatment. What they did constitutes dental malpractice, and according to legal consultations, we can take legal action against this establishment for dental malpractice.A letter was sent requesting an explanation and a reevaluation of the case, but we never received a response. This is not correct in any aspect; it is simply a way to extract more money from the patient, completely absurd.Do not engage with this establishment. Less

She is being charged for not coming in because she had a baby. She missed 3 maintenance that were NEVER scheduled (go figure) Number 1 she almost lost her life because she bled out over 2 liters of blood. So. She was giving iron and blood transfusions. How do you come to an appointment and sit around people after having a baby. She was on maternity from her job for over 3 months. Then, i brought my baby daughter to them because her grandmother was going to gift her braces for Christmas. She gave me $300 in cash and I took her to her FREE consultation and they said in order for the braces to go on I'd have to pay $490. So, I said ok. I left the $300 with the Doctor and told her that next Friday, I'd be back with $190 after I let her grandmother know. The DOCTOR said it was fine. I went a week later because my daughter had got in trouble and said hey, I'm not going to get braces for her because she got in trouble. I need the $300 back. The doctor told me no, she could not refund me and I had to email their corporate office in which I did. I did not understand it because my daughter never received the services, never got braces put on so how could you not give the money back. OK, so I emailed as told and briefly explained everything and they never responded. I called and spoke to Thai and I let her know that I'd have to take them to small claims court because they are basically stealing money at this point. Thai called me back and said they won't refund you so THEY DECIDED to put the money on tour account. I said absolutely not. You can't put money on my account when the money I left was for my child. Well she said they did and said they told her I would not win in court because on such and such line it says no refunds. So, I called my daughter grandmother and told her what happened and she said then they have to put the braces on my grandchild and they can't just take money and not give service. I called just now and spoke to Thai. And she said for me to email again and I said I find it very funny that I keep emailing and no one is responding back to my emails but when I call she always has the answers they gave to her. How unprofessional. So, I said Thai why should I keep emailing and they are responding only back to you. So, she said you know what, you're right I want to stay out the middle and she just kept saying Sue them, if I was you I'd just sue them because I want nothing to do with it. WOW!! Don't get me wrong, they are some lovely women in the office but this is so uncalled for. Like I never seen anything like this in my life. And what corporate office never respond to emails. So, I'll just call BBB and do whatever I have to do at this point Less
