I have run quite a few day retreats and a residential retreat at Asha. Everyone always has such a wonderful time at the and all comment how time just disappears. One lady recognised it as a thin place where she felt so close to the spiritual realm. Everyone is in awe of the energy there and the beautiful space. I can't imagine running retreats anywhere else and hope to book many more. So many participant have not been to any kind of retreat before and they were held so safely in the container of the Asha Centre. The feedback has been heartwarming.It truly is my favourite place to be. The Asha Centre is purely magical. The setting is beautiful at any time of year and as soon as you arrive you can feel the magic all around you. The peace pavilion is the most wonderful environment to bring people together and invites calm and tranquility. The grounds have been so carefully cultivated that you can wander around for hours or just sit in all of the well placed seating areas and just be. There are gorgeous artefacts and ornaments and poems and quotes sprinkled around that all connect to the heart.All of the people who work at Asha are genuinely lovely and helpful to ensure all my yoga and mindfulness retreats have run as planned. The catering is excellent too. I would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful venue for anyone who wants to bring peace to the world.In a way I’m hesitant to share a review as want to keep this gem to myself.

I've stayed at the Asha Centre a couple of times and it never disappoints. This recent visit for a couple of nights was just what I needed. The Centre is surrounded by the most beautiful scenery, tall trees, gardens full of lovely flowers, small waterfalls dotted wround and the peaceful Forest of Dean just a few minutes walk away. It felt so therapeutic just being there, like a true sanctuary for the soul. We had glorious 30 degrees weather, so I spent a lot of time relaxing in the garden with friends, soaking it all in and enjoying the calm.Everything felt restorative, from the elegant Georgian house and its charming rooms to the tranquil grounds that invite quiet reflection.The food was honestly some of the best I've had in ages, It's fresh tasty and really nourishing.If you’re after a proper peaceful escape, I can’t recommend this place enough. I left feeling refreshed and I’ll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended for anyone seeking wellbeing, nature and a bit of magic in the heart of Gloucestershire.

I have had the privilege of spending two forums for young Zoroastrian leaders at the ASHA Centre, and both experiences have been nothing short of magnificent. ASHA is a rare and powerful place. The space holds a group with extraordinary care, intention, and generosity.Every detail seems thoughtfully provided for, from the fully stocked kitchen to the linens, towels, and practical comforts that allow participants to settle in and feel at home. Beyond that, the Centre offers a remarkable variety of rooms, gathering spaces, outdoor areas, and quiet corners, each supporting a different kind of reflection, dialogue, creativity, and transformation.I am moved every time I am at the ASHA Centre. Each time I leave, I find myself reminded that life is meant to be lived in community, in spaces where people can gather with purpose, honesty, beauty, and care. In many ways, ASHA feels like a direct antidote to loneliness, isolation, and some of the deepest challenges of modern life. It is a place that nourishes not only programs and projects, but people, relationships, and the possibility of meaningful change.

This is one of the most serene places one may visit in the UK. The calm and inner peace that one feels walking the grounds, hiking the hills nearby, and listening to the sounds of nature is an incredible feeling. The natural beauty of the place coupled with the amazing team makes it a winning combination. Definitely would recommend it.

This is the most peaceful place I have been too. It’s serene, picturesque and quiet. The staff is amazing and you feel like you are amongst family. It’s place I am definitely going back to.
